President Donald Trump will not be in attendance.
According to the announcement, Melania Trump and LSU have secured $5 million to establish a permanent endowment fund for Fostering the Future. She established the scholarship program in 2021 as partners in her Be Best initiative, and it financially supports students who have experienced foster care.
The partnership between the White House and LSU is intended to support LSU students who grew up in the foster care system.
Melania Trump will also announce the endowment during a special ceremony before the game, where a “groundbreaking Fostering the Future campaign will activate across the campus and on the field.”

LSU is the biggest and boldest brand in the nation so there is no surprise that they picked Tiger Stadium to launch this initiative.
