they jumped out big on ou throwing every trick play at them and then had to hang out and just pull it out. also LSU/Bama is much better than 07 ou. ou isn't nearly as punishing as LSU or bama, I think the style they play is more suitable for a team like boise to hang with than the style LSU and bama brings.
Fwiw i think if boise had to play uga in the middle of a real sec schedule yall beat them. Id bet they would look an awful lot like utah this year if boise had the balls to join a real conference. Instead they want one game a year plus the bowl game and then to cry and pout about being left out.

And then we barely beat a Vandy team and stomped at midfield (fairly classless act)....Interesting.
haha the stars are aligning!
yea, people forget how terrible that game was and were it not for a late fumble richt may have jump started this hot seat rhetoric. that was a terrible game

For the record, you and i agree on the whole CMR thing and, for the most part, everything related to the Dawgs (minus the Grantham thing)
i have always been a loner on the CTG thing, and it isn't even that much an issue to me. he is an arse and i wish he'd be punished but i am not calling for his head. i just think he is overrated and if we do fire richt i'd like to see him leave as well
and good

i just hope i am wrong and we fricking beat UF

sadly we'll never know and our horrendous game plan and execution will to be blame

We have shown improvement from last year, and seem to be showing improvement week to week, Vandy not withstanding.
On D yes. On O no.

I knew coming into this year we would not be world beaters, but an improving team. Which we are
again not on O. We still play like shite overall and it's embarrassing. What good is backing our way into an SEC East title?

CTG is ok. I don't like how he conducts himself but our D is improved from last year. He has gotten our D to play quite well so that's good.

this, my god this
we all give shite to USC for making it to the SECCG because it wasn't much an accomplishment, and it wasn't but us getting there is gonna be on par with that. idk, i just think this is a shitty year for us to gauge our program's direction and to make a big decision

it really doesn't get more embarrassing for someone that is suppose to be in the big 6 than to have boise come in and rape you in your own back yard.
and that is why/ when I knew it was time for Richt to go. That was not the first time that kind of thing happened. We lost vs. frickin Colorado.

I think he is capable of winning a NC. Just see 2007. Everyone needs a break here or there. CMR didn't get it. So 2002 and 2007 which means 2012 is our next year to hit it big. Right?
you cannot be serious?

I agree and if you want to use this year then fine but we should not in any way lose 4 games this year, yet we are exactly in that boat. Anymore than 2 losses 3 at the absolute most was a complete disaster.

it's hard to fire a guy when he goes 9-3, 10-2 and makes the SECCG sadly. i think we are in for yet another year of this. what really gets me is how good we should be in 2012 and i want someone who can come in and utilize it
this may be one of our best teams in a while and we may waste it on doofus' coaching

I Know I am wasting my time BUT the defense is leaps and bounds better. Outside of trick plays they have done really well...more so when you consider that they have been shuffling lb's all season.
With that said....the offense has been horrific. I have watched them live the last two weeks and it seemed like it was 70-yards and brain fart. They would call the game well and execute but when they got within the 30 they went brain dead.
Personnel issues have been the biggest flaw to me. I do not understand why they keep White in over Charles in goal line situations. I know White is a better blocker and a really good TE. However, Charles is one of the top goal line offensive threats in the league.

you cannot be serious? how in the hell are we gonna beat anyone when we can't even go 10-2 with a shite easy schedule and lose vs teams like COlorado and almost lose to Vanderbilt
Can you explain to me the difference between this season and 2007 in terms of wins and losses/almost losses?

i know that must have been hard for you to say.
and i never said they weren't better, hell yea they are, but the whole getting pushed around by vandy thing got me all worried and such. and the answer to your question en lies with this man

they are similar when you think about it. the thing that set the 2007 squad off was the offense finding and identity vs UF with moreno. we found a run game, our OL began to gel, and stafford was damn near masterful with the PA
if our offense now figures shite out it will be the same story, though, i doubt it would be near as good as that 2007 team. problem is, our OL is so god damn bad i am not sure the offense will ever get on track. that 2007 OL turned out to be a damn good unit and this one we have now is a dumpster fire

In the Vandy game they were terrific in pass defense. However, the fake punt and hb pass led to one touchdown. Then, another special teams touchdown.
I have not watched the film but it seemed like chop blocking was a big factor in their (Vandy) running the ball well in the second half.
Plus, it was one of those games where the qb was slipping away at the last second. Rogers has some nice wheels but there were probably 5 missed sacks that night.

the defense lost composure that night and reverted back to willie form. there are some issues in the pass rush department you love but otherwise i think Vandy will serve as more of a humbling experience and idk if we will see them play that bad again.
then again, AU and GT looms. this isn't a bad defense, but it is not fully there yet. but if they start slipping this team is in a lot of trouble because they are the rock that is holding this team together
