Being from outside the SEC's geographical base, he only knows who has been winning the West, the SEC and national championships. He has a national perpective, not the normal regional one.
He knows a win over LSU is bigger for the program than a win over Alabama's traditional rivals.
The kid is a competitor who played and won it all at the highest level in Texas football. He knows which games will make or break their season. He knows which games will lead to a championship.
His way of thinking is what I would expect from a Texas kid. He is from one of the largest cities in the country so he knows all about big stages. Hell, his dad works for the Cowboys so he knows what big time football looks like.
He knows LSU and Alabama are top dogs in the big, bad SEC West.
He is a smart kid!
