Not in the least. Does he play defense? Thats a real question maybe he does then i will say okay you are right. What he doesnt do is score red zone touch downs because he isnt an old fashion back. He can only score in space when the defense has to cover the whole field. There is nothing wrong with that. He is great at what he does.

The only Top 25 defense he faced all year was Northwestern.

only had 12 carries for 5.5 yards per attempt vs Northwestern.
And how about his 20 carries for 2.9 yards per carry against UCF - the 114th ranked defense in the country?

Nah, you haven't watched him. He's capable of short TD runs vs a stacked line.

He's a complete back.

I love how youre trying to argue a versatility angle against Cnristian McCaffrey I'm favor of Derrick Henry. Lol.

Just looked it up...7 of his 12 TDs were carries within 11 yards. He's not good enough to put the team on his back. He can't even finish plays for his team without perfect blocking.

Why can't he take score on long runs? What college Heisman RB has ever been so unathletic that they couldn't house long runs?

If McCaffrey is obviously more deserving, why do you think Henry is the favorite? There are 870 media ballots, divided by region, and 58 ballots for past winners. Both Stanford and Alabama have had one past winner.
Do you think it is media bias (must have developed fairly recently, or else Alabama would have had more than one winner)? Are you simply much better at discerning who is deserving than the voters, and they are making a collective mistake?

4 of his 8 TOTAL rushing TDs came against UCLA... the 88th ranked rush defense in America.
He had 8 games in which he didn't record a single rush TD. You people can't be serious.
Surely you all are just Bama/Henry haters and are latching on to the nearest threat to thwart his chances.
There's no actual way you people think he's more deserving than Derrick Henry.

I'll interpret what you said, I don't speak that language.
He has.

He is a very good athlete. But not a RB. He will be a good slot WR in NFL.
Literally the only reason people are saying this is because he's white. If a black 6'0 205lb running back had 1800 rushing yards, nobody would be saying he'd have to switch to WR in the NFL. People certainly weren't talking that way about Jamaal Charles or Reggie Bush.

Why can't Henry catch?
You can pick and choose your stats all day long to fit your particular bias.

Yep, and West Coast.

He has.
Henry probably has more scores over 50 yards than McCaffrey has over 11 yards. Get your head out of your arse.

He had 6 games in which he didn't score a single touchdown, period. 13 total touchdowns on the year and 4 of those came against a pathetic UCLA defense.

Oh well. I guess his 2350 yards from scrimmage were in vain.
