Oh he wanted to play another sport at another school? Well that seems 100% academically motivated! Approved!

The statement by them about that wasn't "Mr. Paulus has expressed an interest in ______ graduate program at....", it starts off with his interest to play a sport there.

dude transferred from one highly respected academic institution to another highly respected academic institution. my guess is paulus goes to grad school with or without football. you really think it's the same case for masoli. also, would masoli have transferred had he not been dismissed from oregon?

Why should he have to wait, on his own dime, to graduate from his Masters and waste a year of his life to go make money?

He doesn't have to wait. If his transfer is about academics, no one is stopping him from getting his masters, and moving on. The NCAA didn't ban him from attending school at Ole Miss. They just deemed him ineligible for 2010 football games.

If his transfer is solely football-driven at Ole Miss, then he's got to wait.

Seems pretty clear to me what the NCAA message is in this case, besides the obvious NCAA opposition to college free agency.

He needs to play another year for the draft. So waiting would be waisting his dime if he did get his masters this year...

Back to my original point... wasn't the whole reason he transfered supposed to be for the grad program, though? The NCAA basically saw right through that....This aint about academics, this is about football. And as we all know, free agency in FBS college football is not allowed.

Let's see, we are talking playing two different sports, he wasn't kicked off his old team and he wasn't a felon.

Yeah very similar cases

Hogtard, what do his off the field issues have to do with NCAA rules regarding graduated seniors that transfer w/o sitting out?
