I don't even know how Ole Miss fans like this kid. Yeah, he scores a lot of points, but he's a total jackass. I really can't think of another player, past or present, that behaves like he does on the court. I don't think I'd even like playing with him. If he played with any composure, Ole Miss wouldn't have needed to rely on the SECT to get an NCAAT bid. That's why he didn't make first team. Leading scorer in the conference loses its luster when you shoot 35% from the field. If anyone on Ole Miss has a case for getting snubbed, it was Holloway. I just find it hilarious that I have friends at Ole Miss who absolutely love everything about him, including his attitude. Put him on any other team, and they'd feel the same way about Henderson everyone else does. It's beyond a player just being good and speaking his mind. He's taunted half the teams he's played and during the game. There's a reason this is his 4th team in as many years. He's an immature punk who obviously hasn't learned much as to how to conduct himself outside of not serving another jail sentence. Think about that for a second. The school that likes to think they're the epitome of class and conservatism worship a kid who shows none of that.

You would love him if he was in purple and gold and I would hate him.

That's what we've said all along.

The thing about MH is, he's not hurting ANYONE. He's harmless. It's basketball, not life or death. I understand the dislike - he trolls everyone and welcomes the backlash. It's entertainment for 3rd party viewers and OM fans. CBB is devoid of stars and personality and he at least makes games interesting.

He's not making anyone upset - if people get mad at his antics that's their problem.

I don't think Ole Miss fans care that's he's not some clean cut frat kid - he's just fun as hell to watch.

i really don't think i'd like him if he played for my team. i've tolerated "good" players before, but there's been plenty i didn't like, regardless of how good they may have been. yeah, i'd like when they made good plays but i wouldn't go as far as one of my buddies has gone and said "he's one of my top 5 favorite ole miss athletes of all time."

Do football players not taunt the opposing team or players after a sack or other big play? The taunting argument so stupid

absolutely hated jefferson, wanted him kicked off the team, and hated him even before all that. and mathieu didn't act nearly as foolish on the football field compared to his peers as henderson does. yes he played with "swagger," but he didn't stand out among other football players for being a total jackass after good plays. he also didn't hurt his team on the field by playing foolishly. really the only thing comparable to the two is they both got kicked out of school, except henderson did several times and actually served a month in jail for cocaine. mathieu was a pothead.

His antics don't bother me all too much, I think it looks ridiculous and makes him look foolish, but whatever floats his boat. However, I do think him calling the SEC coaches losers and trying to say Donovan gets all the calls and similar comments cross the line. He is immature and doesn't really seem to have any accountability from Kennedy, which is a problem in and of itself.

apples and oranges. basketball and football are not comparable in that sense. however, yes, if a football player went to the opposing teams bench to taunt or gator chomped the bench after a sack, they'd be penalized and people would talk about what a cocky POS that player is. there's a reason everyone in the country talks about what a jackass henderson is. it's because his behavior on the court stands out among the rest of the players in the country, and not in a good way.

Kennedy knows that Henderson's success equals his success. He's hitched his fate to him for better or worse.

Im so sick of people saying Henderson hurts our team. Does he take some ill advised shots sometimes? yes. But the fact of the matter is that we would be about an 18 win team without him.

i'm not sure what that's even supposed to mean. and i still don't know how people defend henderson. he's not even the best player on ole miss' team yet he's celebrated by the ole miss fan base as the best thing since sliced bread. no one would even have a problem with him if he just let his play do the talking like the rest of the ole miss team.

He's not the first or last shite talker to come around. All these angry folks just got trolled IRL. It's hilarious.

The only difference is in a basketball arena fans are much closer to the courts than in a stadium. How much shite talking goes on between football players that we have no idea about because of helmets? You are basically saying bc Marshall is seen doing it that he is a POS.

How is Marshall doing the gator chomp going down court different than any other football player in history doing the same thing after a sack? It's not

We played with zero passion for most of the last couple of years. He brings that frenetic energy we've lacked. People are stupid.
