He was hurt, and he had very little talent on the offense with him his senior year. And his numbers weren't bad for the season, just not what they were his junior year.

I don't know, 57% completion rate with an average of 166 yards per game and 20 touchdowns, 8 interceptions on the year aren't really elite high school quarterback numbers to me and they're a pretty good drop off from his junior numbers but I figured there was an explanation.

1. Brennan wasn't playing very elite competition in high school.
2. He was averaging 370 yards and 3.6 touchdowns per game before getting hurt in 2020.
