UGA would have slaughtered ND just the same.

They would've found some way to frick it up.

Richt has excellent chance to win it all this year. If he misses the window the next two seasons look for defection #2 of the century when the LSU OC Cam Cameron takes the reigns at Georgia and the rant instantly incinerates.

Not trying to flame, but saban got lucky all four years of his championships.

So did Coach Bryant, during all six years of HIS championships. And Coach Miles was very lucky when his team won the BCS.

Every champion in every sport is lucky at some point. Name one BCS champ who was not considered lucky somehow.

But sometimes you create your own luck through hard work, no? Or by recruiting better than your opponents. Or by being in the right place at the right time so that if an opportunity is presented, you are in the best position to take advantage of that opportunity.

To paraphrase, I would rather be lucky and good than just good. You?
