And I'd be willing to bet teams throw on Alabama much more.
LSU has had 35 more pass attempts against them this year total...but in SEC only stats Bama has more attempts against them, although in SEC LSU is giving up a lower completion percentage.
The big skew in defensive stats overall (non-conf) is LSU played Oregon and West Va, both rated in the top 15 in total offense...and Bama played Penn State who sucks on offense.

Most of mcarron yards were passes to the rb. Y'all receiver had 50 yards

So the secondary has nothing to do with covering a RB running down the field? I don't think the 40 yard pass to Trent was at the LOS.

Kent State 111th
Penn State 95th
North Texas 80th
Vandy 98th
This wasnt about which defense was better. Its about LSU's Legendary secondary that is the best in the whole world.

Why would LSU fans acknowledge a good post like that?

I dk LOL. I even gave their secondary the edge in my conclusion. I simply compared secondaries against common opponents.

I didn't say they suck. They just aren't a good passing team.

They probably didn't get to the conclusion. It was a good post though

wait, til this Harvey's dial up gets him to those bama rankings. 8 opponents outside of the top 85 nationally in passing plus a 1-AA option team. 1 opponent in the top 47 nationally in passing offense, yet LSU's schedule sucks.

you don't even know how to reply to the right person, but i'm the dumbass. and yeah i'm mad. My team lost to bama at home, my team didn't even win the sec west, my team won't win the national title and now mark may just said that the team that beat us at home has a better secondary than the updykes.
i so mad

They both do. Not so sure what you're not understanding...

Bamas defense is a brick wall.
Lsu's defense is an attacking, aggressive bunch that plays the ball better but gives a few yards, short fields and turnovers.
Trying to say one is better then the other is pointless. I would take ours however

one team played the hardest schedule in college football and will have beaten 8 ranked teams and 3 top 5 teams by tomorrow. one team beat 3 ranked teams all year and their biggest win all year is arkansas. Yeah, they are the exact same.
