Hey guys, I'm not the least bit upset with anyone. I'm just here to have fun just like everyone else.
Alabama, you guys killed us last year!
Lsu, we had a lucky break and beat you guys.
Ole Miss, you guys beat us at home,(Barely)!
Don't think I'm pissed off. I'm at work and enjoy having a good time. Makes my day go faster.
If I didn't enjoy it, I wouldn't come over here.

Imagine what Mallet is going to do this coming season with 3 better receivers and 3 better backs than what he had at Michigan. Do not underestimate the Razorbacks this year. We will still smell strong.

Fixed.

Giving an honest effort to be unbiased, and not reek of homer sentiments:

I believe Arkansas will be a SEC Title contender in 2010.

This is the year we return 23 Freshman and True Freshman that started, tied with Florida St. in that regard, our highest recruiting class ever, and a future NFL 1st rounder at QB.

With all of that said:

@Bama
@A&M (Dallas)
@Florida
@Old Piss
@LSU
Georgia at home

There isn't a team in this nation with that schedule nor is it reasonable for me to believe there are not some "L's" in there. I believe worst case scenario we are looking at 6 to 7 wins post bowl with a best case scenario of 8 to 9 wins post bowl. Any more than that and Petrino is C.O.Y.

Again, 2010 the schedule flip flops and Arkansas will be in the SEC title discussion, IMHO.

Unfortunately for the 'Hogs, Alabama and LSU will be absolutely loaded, not to mention very experienced.

The Hogs will probably be the most experienced team in the league...We are also not lacking for talent and both schools must come to Arky...

Nutt is an incredibly LUCKY coach. Nothing else.

He could never have landed a Jevan Snead himself, and that was the biggest difference in OM last season.

Nutt brought some cliches Mississippi hadn't heard yet, some rah-rah, made some players believe, but without a Jevan, they probably go 5-7 last season.

petrinos bcs bowl was against powerhouse wake forest.. woo.. as for two quarterbacks any sec team would love to have?? no sec team recruited wilson and as far as im concerned... i think maybe vandy and kentucky would want mallet.. i mean the kid has an arm.. but i don't know if you have noticed yet but he has a problem with this thing called accuracy.. strong offensive line? thats nice.. you lose your best offensive lineman off a group that was last in the conference in sacks allowed a game.. wouldn't call them strong just yet my friend.. we barely beat you at home.. ok but we beat you.. at your place.. and now were improved and so are you.. you will be playing florida the week before.. i don't know where in your mind you think you can beat us..
but i agree im only on here for fun too.. can't wait for the season.. and yeah we did fall short against bama.. we were past midfield and jevan got greedy and went downfield.. check the replay my friend.. we have a receiver streaking across the middle past the first down line.. wide open.. if jevan doesn't get greedy and plays smart.. the drive continues deep in yalls territory.. yall barely escaped against us again.. i know bama fans hate to admit it but yall have to be scared now.. yall could hardly beat orgerons teams... and as for houston's recruiting.. its arkansas.. i mean no offense but as far as a place to recuit thats like tryint to recruit at mississippit state.. oh well hottty toddy and i can't wait for football season

Which beat an SEC team last season...Remember Petrino was in the Big Least..at least that's what you guys keep reminding us

Bottom line is that the kid was one of the better rated QB's in his recruiting class...Passed for over 8K yards in 2 seasons...His problem is that he's never worked under center

You are an F'n idiot if you believe that my friend...I'm not saying he's Montana but the kid has talent

and now were improved and so are you..

I don't YET seem how OM is improved...but whatever

Grobe is a great football coach and we would have loved to have him had he accepted our job. Wake> Ole Miss proven last year

Michigan wanted Mallett so you think Vandy and Kentucky are the only SEC teams that would want him-- OK ????

Ole Miss Sucks + Houston Nutt Sucks = Major Fail and Suck of the upmost order.

Yeah, its a bit arrogant to say so but its not a leap of faith either. Odds are, that's exactly what he is.

brent schaefer was a highly rated quarterback as well.. he has left a scar on my heart.. and a distrust in recruiting.. i usually check offers..

i'll give you that the kid has talent.. but he had talent around him at michigan playing against slower and weaker defenses.. put up awful numbers.. he's slow and very innacurate playing in a league of faster teams that love to take advandtagge of innacurate qb's with weak o-lines..

so your saying you don't pay attention to anything outside of arkansas?.. i mean shite we return 7 on an offense that was in the top 3 in the conference last year that includes are qb (jevan snead) our stable of running backs, and our playmaker (dex mccluster).. our defense returns 8 from team that was 5th overall in the conference last year.. so.. what was that again?..

quote:

Put the Ego down...you have no right

same can be said to you and the majority of arkansas' fans.. but funny thing is.. we beat you at your place last year.. so against yall i believe i can

either way friend its sec football and i can't wait till we face off

they needed a last second field goal to beat us when we were playing without greg hardy and peria jerry who proved late in the season how much of a difference maker they are.. and if you really think that they could've beaten us at the end of the year you are downright stupid

ok so when you can come up with a valid response to my first post on this thread as to even the slightest reason why the sec should be scared of mallett than i'll actually pay attention to something you have to say

future NFL 1st rounder at QB

he has the potential to be one yes.. but he really needs to work on his mechanics, how he handles himself under pressure, he needs to throw with more touch, and he really needs to work on his accuracy.. the kid has the arm no doubt but he gets hurried and he still thhinks he can throw it like he did in high school.. eventually i think he will be good if he can improve on these things.. i think its too early to say he's going to be a first rounder

I think Petrino has had him working on these things since he stepped on Campus last January. Or maybe I am wrong and he has been sitting on his hands the entire time.

I think it is safe to say that Mallett is not the same QB that we all saw at Michigan. How much better he is is yet to be seen. I am sure that he is better however.

You have provided no upgrades to what you lost from last season and the secondary is still suspect...Oh I forgot, you guys are counting on Massie to replace Oher...my bad

I suppose you think Snead will win the Hiesman?? If you do you have more expectations than we do. The best you guys will do will be a Cotton Bowl bid. If you do it will be because of your weak schedule. But HDN teams are known for that....
