Yeah. UT has an unfortunate reputation of having their opponents get unfortunate injuries.

I wouldn't say that was UT's fault. I saw no illegal hits from your players when we played you. Sometimes injuries happen.

it was just bad luck

Exactly.

Agree 100%. Taht's all you can ask of your team. Effort.

Almost Akin to the auburn/UGA ending as a auburn fan. Sorry to bring up bad moments

You win some and you lose some. We got a break because we hit their guy hard as he was trying to stretch across the goal line. We were fortunate.

Auburn got a break against us when our DB's didn't knock the ball down. But they got the break because their WR stayed with the play and didn't give up. Had he stopped running when he saw the ball heading for our DB's they would not have won. But he was in position because he gave effort. It is what it is.

Sureit did. And while I was happy for what that meant for Georgia, I felt bad for that Tenn. kid. Can you imagine having to replay that in your head for the rest of your life? He was giving it 100% efforet and it backfired. I felt bad for him.

Honestly that's the best game I've personally ever watched. I'm never happy after a loss, but that was the closest a thing to a good loss as you can get. Nobody should fault pig for that fumble, if it weren't for him we wouldn't have been in that game in the first place. The guy was just going all out to score, and got unlucky. Hell of a game. I remember the ESPN tweet during that game : Knoxville Tennessee is the loudest place on Earth right now.

If UGA would have had Mitchell it's likely they would have beat Auburn and kept them from fricking everything up against the noles.

Could have easily, EASILY been a Vol win. You guys definitely had us on the ropes. You actually had a tough team. Shows me you should be an improved team this year. A strong Tennessee team is good for the SEC and good for football. In a way I hate to see you guys get better, because it makes it that much tougher on us. The East is on a resurgence. With Florida coming back, Tennessee coming back, Missouri getting really tough and joining an improving Georgia and a good South Carolina....

In about 3 years i THINK the East will be as good if not better than the West. Time will tell.
