I like that you keep acting like the SEC tournament matters. LSU had a national seed locked up.
it's his 7th year at LSU. He's just getting around to molding the program how he wants it.

I actually feel sorry for you. What a pathetic existence you have to defend a garbage team that hasn't won shite since the Stone Ages. I haven't seen this level of mad ever on the Rant before. Your team is consistently the Hindenburg and you have no problem at all riding it all the way into the ground. Please be sure to talk about crying in Hoover now, since you bring it up every other post. LSU owns your inferior little shite school, deal with it.

Angie will be telling his grandkids one day about the time Mississippi State knocked LSU out of Hoover. Hopefully Mississippi State will have a national championship in anything that many years from now.

Thank God for a moral victory. Still lost 2/3 at your own ball park.

MLB and college are different
There's a code in MLB and retaliation will happen at some point in time, followed by a fine and suspension if necessary
You can't fine in college baseball but you can suspend.
It was low class by MSU and Cohen wanted to send a message and he did.
It's the same reason you have the sliding into second base rule when trying to break up double plays.
The reason the rule is in place in college is because the SS is usually an irreplaceable part and with schollie limitations you don't want teams taking out the best player. Same reasoning for the Katz pitch behind his head. There's no place for it in the college game but Cohen knew he could get away with it and he did. Congrats Cohen! He knew LSU would not retaliate and if they did it would hurt them more than just accepting it from MSU.

This is why you need to start giving more than warnings to the original offenders.....a real message would have been to toss Graveman and Cohen.
Although the ump told Maineri the pitch was with a purpose but not intentionally thrown at Katz. I need someone to translate that for me. To me it says I was too much of a pussy to make the right move so I'm going into CYA mode.
