So we are now removing parts of history to make an argument.

Not at all, did I not acknowledge that we are tied for national championships in baseball in the post right before that? My only point I made and am still making is LSU since 1990 has double the amount of national championships in baseball than UT has. That LSU has had much more recent success in baseball, so if the trend in recent history continues with both baseball and football in recent national championships we are destined to surpass Texas in both sports soon.

You may be better than us historically right now but it seems that you won't be in the near future.

I forgot about track, we destroy you in track athletes.

Texas is acting like a bunch of spoiled cry babies who did not get their way. LSU told them "NO" and now Texas is kicking and screaming like a toddler. Now I see why Missouri and Texas A&M gave Texas the middle finger and left.

just reading up on the cancellation.. is Texas kicking and screaming or the HS coaches and reporters looking for the drama hits?

The truth is probably somewhere in between.

Really? Y'all have eight national championships in baseball?

The fault in your math is that Texas has won twice as many national championships since 1990 than you were crediting.

College World Series Titles: 1990-2017

LSU - 6 (1991, 1993, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2009)
t.u. - 2 (2002, 2005)

He was wrong. Since 1990, they have THREE TIMES as many titles as you do.

You are so easy to goad. I seriously made that post, got up to cut my steak, then sat down to see if you'd replied with a post pointing out that it's 1 NC vs. 2 NCs.

Is that what happened? LSU has the ability to cancel these camps?

Or did your coach put pressure on the hosts to cancel? And you call Texas shady...

You're just now finding out how LSU does business with Louisiana recruits? We've been dealing with this since the Slocum days.

Their respective 2-7 and 5-11 records against us was probably good motivation, too. Why be mediocre in the Big12 when you can be mediocre in the mighty SEC?

No, I knew it, I just can't get over how he's portraying LSU as the White Knight.

Are you personally upset about the cancellation of this camp?

Not really. I'm upset at Texas being portrayed as the bad guy in this, just like the conference realignment stuff.

DeLoss Dodds' greatest hits:

"We ARE the Joneses"

"No one cares about A&M except for a sliver along the east side of the state."

"Our worst years are better than the best years of teams like Missouri."

Problem is you did all this while UT is down and you can ask any Aggy here, though, UT does not stay down for long

UT has been down for most of my lifetime. other than the royal years (which you probably were not even alive for) mack brown was the only years y'all were worth a flying frick (at least some of his years).

looks to me that UT was down for about 30 straight years (royal to brown). 30 STRAIGHT YEARS! that qualifies your program as one that indeed DOES stay down for long.
