And they replaced that coach with one who lost to Navy & SMU last year.
After losing the only player worth two shits (D'Onta Foreman - 3rd round draft pick)...ruh roh.

I remember when Alabama couldn't beat UL Monroe even under Saban
Kansas is much better football program than UL Monroe or Hawaii another university that Bama couldn't beat
Why didn't the Bama administration agree to a home and home with UT. I thought it would have been perfect time for Bama to maybe win their second game out of many against the Longhorns.
No Saban is too much of a bitch to play a road OOC game so UT was forced to play LSU

UT is about to take the fight to the SEC. I wouldn't be surprised if the Longhorns grabbed a few recruits from Louisiana and Mississippi in 2018

This thread is great, an alter with 1 day of activity on this board has got everybody all riled up because Texas is historically a better program than any SEC team not named Alabama.
You've got LSU fans saying they're glad Herman turned them down
You've got A&M fans referring to themselves as 'daddy' of any program
And you've got SummerOfGeorge...not sure what SummerOfGeorge is doing in here

Time to hit the road with your Aggy boyfriends this is a Blueblood pissing contest
A contest LSU can never get into with their slightly above average football history
Can you name one sport that LSU has a better history than UT
I doubt it as UT is the only university Top 20 in wins in the five big sports
FB, BB, WBB, Baseball and Softball

2016 Kansas is not anywhere close to as good a football team as 2007 UL-Monroe or 2003 Hawaii.
Kansas beat 1 D1 team in 2016 (hint: it was Texas)
ULM beat 5 D1 teams in 2007
Hawaii beat 8 D1 teams in 2003

Sorry, too busy playing elite teams like USC and Florida State to waste our time with a team that hasn't been to a bowl game in half a decade.

Yeah all those Florida and Tennessee studs we have pulled are way West of LSU. Stop talking out your arse dude.

Problem is you did all this while UT is down
We lost our head coach last year too budd. Not to mention we have been pulling Texas talent to LSU for a very long time.

I am just wondering how many other dominos in the SEC West will fall as well.
Nothing else will happen. Your hypothetical dominoes do not exist.

Head to Head results says UT is a better program
Congratulations on finally beating the Longhorns but when we play again history will be proven to be correct and UT will come out on top

Wut? I wasn't aware there was an offer for a home and home with UT. I seriously doubt your AD wants any part of Bama right now. We did agree to a home and home in basketball did we not?

Well we are tied with National Championships in Baseball. The difference is we have won way more national championships in baseball since 1990 than Texas. Not to mention we have a shot at it this year, which by the way you didn't make it to Omaha this year if you were wondering.

I believe we are going to be playing in basketball maybe this year or starting in 2018
UT was trying to play all the best programs in each conference USC in the PAC 12, Ohio State in the BIG and Bama in the SEC
Bama didn't want a home and home and there was no reason for us to play at a neutral site so UT picked up a home and home with LSU

Cool - we played USC last year and Florida State this year, so, we're good.

It wasn't barbarous, petty and cruel?

You cannot write the history of the CWS without UT
UT has appeared in close to half of the CWS.
It isn't UT's fault that LSU sucked in baseball until the late 80's
bullshite aside I have the deepest respect for LSU baseball as they are along with UT and Miami are the only blue bloods of college baseball

They also beat Rhode Island (2-9 in 1AA with a 84-7 loss to James Madison) though, so, we can't ignore that.

Who said it was their fault? I merely stated that comparatively since the 90's UT baseball is not even close to the level of baseball LSU has been playing.

So we are now removing parts of history to make an argument.
Thing is UT has had 5 coaches in baseball for the last 106 years. Two of them have the most wins
in the history of the sport.
Longevity means much more than short burst of success if it didn't then why don't we start calling Florida St a football blueblood
