Someone explain to me why LSU had more urgency to score at the end of the game down 36 instead of before the half?
There was no need for Nussmeir to still be out there getting hit when the game was over. Thought it was odd that BK would jeopardize someone’s safety by putting them in such a dangerous position like that.

Kelly did the exact same shite against Alabama a few years back in the playoff. I forget the guy's name but he kept the quarterback in all the way until the end, even though the game was long over.
I guess Saban thought that if Kelly was gonna keep the guy in and keep trying to score, then he was gonna keep bringing the pain, and that's exactly what Saban did.
