It is a troll. Because outside of HC we either pushed or upgraded. Shows how little ball you know.

You did not push or upgrade at the offensive coordinator or running backs coach positions. Frank Wilson is not who you think he is. Our running game (outside of Jayden Daniels) has been abysmal for the last 4 years.

Even if you did push or upgrade (you didn't), "outside of the HC" is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

OC push. RB coach is a recruiting position. Definitely an upgrade. We don’t know the TE coach but I like Joe Cox.

Yeah, that’s what I think when you guys say a guy you never heard of until three weeks ago is an upgrade over Frank Wilson. ??

I’ve been jealous of y’all’s run game for several seasons now

Also I’ve not enjoyed Wilson’s RB coaching and rotation for several seasons now

I know it might be hard to believe but most LSU fans feel the same way

I've known of Kevin Smith since he played for the Lions.

I don't know if he's an upgrade or not but LSU's running game has been shite since 2019. Not sure how much of that was Frank's fault but he's starting to seem like a has been.

You had the worst OC in the SEC.

Sure, but the running game sucked under Denbrock too, outside of Jayden Daniels.

Miamis was just as bad when Kevin Smith was there. Running back is a recruiting position. Running backs are only as good as the blocking and playcalling allow. You and me could coach it in that offense.

Just not true.

RB coach is a recruiting position.
You won't be saying that when your RB underperform their ranking year after year. Frank was, at one point, the best recruiter in CFB. Relationships still matter, but above board money has changed things. Frank was an all time bag man in his day. What happened with Jakeem Stewart last year would not, in a million years, have happened in say 2012. I like Frank. I know his family. I am just telling you the hard truth about his role and ability in modern CFB. It's not the same.

Even though he's a great relationship guy, his relationships matter more at LSU. Ole Miss won't be going into New Orleans and pulling 5 stars. I don't remember the last time Ole Miss won a recruiting battle (in which Frank could be a part of given his connections) over LSU. Frank is going to get the same guys Ole Miss has been getting forever.

shite, he might even give you a very slight bump, but his actual running backs (something OM has thrived with in the Kiffin era) will underperform.

Our backs will thrive in this system. We don’t run the antiquated offense you’ve been running. From freeze through now we’ve always had successful impact backs. And that won’t change. The talent in this state is good and we will get the best ones from New Orleans moving forward.

Weis and Baker are the same guy with the same offense and the same results. Baker is probably the better recruiter of the two.

The architects of the system and the play callers are gone lol.

This is just delusional. At no point will Ole Miss be getting the "best" of anything from New Orleans, unless the best of New Orleans isn't good enough to play at LSU.

You act like you've got all the knowledge in the world, but somehow pretend that Ole Miss is going to pillage New Orleans. That isn't a thing that ever has or ever will happen.

Weis has been an offensive coordinator for twice as long as Baker has been an on field coach.

Baker coached a couple of above average offenses at East Carolina. They are not the same guy with the same results lol.

Cope however you must, bro. From the administration, staff, coaching and personnel standpoint Ole Miss will remain near the top of the SEC. You’ll have a chance to be consistently fun to watch for a change. I’m not sure why yall can’t just be happy about that.

He's never had a top 50 offense at ECU, based on FEI.

To be fair though, they were one of the worst in the country the year before he was hired.

It’s not about getting the top portal class . It’s about getting the right players and then developing them.

Kiffin went 9-3 with the #2 portal class. Kelly came into the season on the hot seat by going 9-3.

Your rationalization is a good evaluator of how clueless your fanbase is. It doesn’t matter what # your class ranked . It matters about getting THE RIGHT players of need and then knowing how to develop them
