"He just did his job"? Both teams were chirping the whole game over some questionable calls. This wasn't an isolated incident, he was pissing off players all game long. And doubting that you've watched the whole tape, but after Jones crossed home plate, the team turned as one towards the Vol's dugout. The umps & stadium personnel had to push them back. This was an attitude game on the part of both teams.

He didn’t do that to harass the batter, dumbass, it’s to protect him. They literally do that for every HBP and HR

If jones wears one I have a feeling there will be a fight.

Vietello runs his mouth allows his players to act like douche bags and then get his feelings hurt when someone does it to him and his team.

Vitello comes out the dug out, what happens if bear was actually there and not turned around walking behind home plate already.

I've watched LSU and SEC baseball for a long time and never seen that antics that Tennessee is doing.

I hope it dosent get to that point, but this LSU team has a little saltiness.
I wish baseball was like hockey
1on 1 till it goes to the ground and then it's broken up

Wrong. Game was over the second the bat hit the ball. Can’t be ejected.

Hey, I’m with you. When I said he’ll wear one, that’s just baseball; when you stare too long you’re supposed to get plunked.

LSU/Tennessee has become a sneaky good baseball rivalry for some reason. Think both teams were jawing a bit throughout the game and tigers came out on top last night.

When the Vols swept us last season in Knoxville Vitello sent his players over to shake our players' hands to "show how much they respected us". Total beta move. They might as well have stood in the infield and flipped our players off. I'm sure our guys took issue with it. I didn't see any UT players running over to shake the UK players' hands when UK won the series last weekend. fricking douche bag ...

It’s not uncommon to shake hands after the final game of the series. Damn, you LSU fans are completely retarded
