I hope we play a competitive game that is free from serious injuries.

We better worry about beating UAB by two scores first!

UGA isn't nearly as good as Tennessee made them look. I have watched Tennessee extensively after their baseball soap opera last year and when their previous year's star wideout Cedric Tilman plays for them their entire offense tends to revolve around him and gets out of sync in the process with Hooker trying to get him the ball too much. Whatever the case is, they click much better when he is not playing.
Add that to being on the road in a hostile environment with a lot of noise and the offensive line being jumpy after Kirby prepared for weeks plus the rain and Hooker being harrassed all game long missing all his deep balls. It was a perfect storm type of deal for UGA. On a neutral field with extra time to prepare, Tennessee would run through them imo.
The team that showed up vs Mizzou and Kent State is still there and there are several teams in the country that can beat them on a good day.
LSU comes in amped up and rolls.
The reality is UGA is in fact better than they showed against UT.
What UGA you see does have a lot to do with turnovers and red zone efficiency. UGA was -2 against Kent State and Missouri and kicked too many FG's in the red zone rather than getting TD's. That's what caused UGA to look "human" in those games.
But you have to understand, that's UGA bringing a D- game.
Tennessee... that was a C+/B- type game. UGA was even in turnovers, giving UT some free points in the turnovers they had. They also had two drives with FG's that really should have been TD's that kept the score for UGA at 27 instead of 35.
UGA's "A" game is what you saw against Oregon (7 straight drives with a TD, 3 points given up, +2 turnover margin) or SC (6 TD, 2 FG, +3 turnover margin).
You're basically putting your hopes on UGA playing their D- game to predict a LSU win. And the reality is that you could win by 2 scores if you play your A game and UGA plays their D- game. But if both teams play their A, B, C or D game... UGA wins by 2 scores because they're simply better than LSU.

That was not a D- game from UGA. Everything was working for ggem and their secondary and dline both played up totheir talent levels. Stetson was hot as well compared to his pitiful performance against Florida.
