So beating up on Louisiana-Monroe and Ole Miss is "peaking?" I guess when your offense is ranked 90th in the country it is.

i guess you missed the JJ's on a hot streak thread, where his stats over two sec games couldn't break malletts second highest single SEC game.

The difference is, we don't depend on JJ to win. a bad game by Mallett and the Hogs are screwed.

Witness the Alabama game.

If you go by common opponents, LSU played better in each case. There's a trend that can't be denied.

Ark won't have to throw it. Davis can't be stopped.

I like our offense's chances against your defense better than I like your offense's chance against our defense.

And I think special teams can't be overlooked. And LSU has the edge there.

see if our running game was still as bad as it was for the alabama game you'd be right however we got a complete offense now.

Davis has only faced one really good team (South Carolina) in this little 5 game run he has had. Mississippi State also has a good run D, so I'll give him that game, too.

The others came against who? Ole Miss, Vandy, and UTEP. BFD.

Yea, LSU's run defense is great.

I don't know if anyone can stop him right now.

Statistically speaking, yes. But everybody knows LSU has problems with a spread offense with a mobile QB, which is why the Auburn and Ole Miss games are distorting our stats in that category.

Arkansas does not run this type of offense, so they are fricked.

I think the seventh-ranked run defense can stop the ninth-ranked rush offense.

Call me crazy.

And Arkansas lost to the best pass defense thay've played, Alabama at #4. LSU's pass defense is #1.

We held Bama to 102 yards. Bama has a better oline and better running backs than Arkansas.

Again...LSU has only given up a significant amount of yards twice this year....to Auburn and to Ole MIss.

Go look it up if you need to.

Arkansas does not run a spread.

And UNC didn't even break 30 yards rushing on LSU, genius.

UNC
Tennessee
Alabama

Are the teams that run the closest thing to a pro style.

UNC had like 400 passing yards...

Tenn? Dude?

Alabama? One dimensional.

Funny thing is, Alabama's defense made your offense look the same way.

And unlike the Tide, which is at the bottom of the SEC in sacks and tackles for loss, LSU near the top in both categories. And we're not bad at grabbing INT's either.
