The real question is, do we keep this thing fired up for a few more pages or back off and start another one tomorrow evening?
We really need a spreadsheets with a list of the grevances and rebutals

We've played Florida 4 times in the last 6 years since Saban's been here. Only lost once
Florida is only now coming back from the departure of Urban Meyer.
Hopefully for your fan base, there will be a Saban vs Muschamp matchup during the season someday.
I am sure the LSU and TAM fans are keeping their fingers crossed for the Bama fans.

I may be proved wrong,
And you will be. It has already been determined that conference champs won't be a prerequisite.

SEC whining about tougher SEC schedules will be treated similar to the SEC fans reaction to LSU's complaints about their tougher schedule: Stop whining you bunch of SEC sissy-crybabies. That goes double for the LSU sissy fans.
The argument isn't that the SEC has a tougher schedule, it's that the SEC has superior teams at the top level of the SEC. The argument is that the best teams should be in the playoff, and since the SEC usually has 2 or more of the best teams in college football, they should get in the playoff. It has nothing to do with the schedule.

But then last year, he said how you should have to win your division to play for a title.

That's not what he said/meant. I remember what you're talking about, and I also remember everyone misinterpreting whatever he said.
He didn't say that, but the import of what he said is the same.
He suggested the loser of the SEC CG should get a BCS bowl above another SEC team - he didn't like that last year Florida had a better bowl than a SEC championship participant, thus the "you play your way into the (SEC CG) game" comment.
Well, if that's so, a team that did not win their division couldn't play for the national championship, the best they could do is one bowl below the SEC CG loser. For example, in 2011 Bama could not have gotten a better bowl than Georgia, which of course means the Mulligan would've never happened.
After years of this position being falsely attributed to Saban, he all but confirmed it with last year's statement.

The counter argument will be since there can only be one winner, there is little reason for the loser of the SEC C.G. to advance to the final-4. They lost to a final-4 team. Rematches are going to be frowned on by the selection committee.
Why do you think the other conferences demanded the final selection be made by a committee instead of the BCS rankings.
