Why is this a FAIL? He isn't addressing SABAN. He's addressing the perspective that EVERYONE else had, especially Bama fans.
He makes an excellent point that should be addressed by both Bama fans and the rest of the SEC. For 3-4 years, all we heard was that Les Miles won with Saban's players. It was written in stone as the conventional wisdom. Once Saban's players left, LSU would begin the inevitable slide to mediocrity.
Now, LSU is rolling as #1 and is dominating the competition - all with Miles players. And, there is no revision of the false meme.
Just a "Please God make it stop" and headshots.
Interesting how people just want to move past 3-4 years of absolute garbage that has been completely disproven with barely a mention, if any at all.
For one, I'm pretty stoked that just about the only thing that anyone outside of LSU fans (and about 30% of LSU fans) said from 2005-2009 has been completely disproven as a big pile of stinking crap.
I'm feeling pretty good about it, right about now.

You nailed it. Miles never has gotten enough credit for what he does, even in the early years. It was all about SABAN and his players. Made me sick.

And now that Miles is absolutely destroying the rest of the SEC (minus Saban/Alabama who we have not played yet), people cannot bring themselves to admit that they were completely wrong.
But, it should be pointed out:
The whole SEC, the entire nation, and a good portion of LSU fans were completely wrong.
Les Miles is a heck of a football coach - dominant, actually.

Miles is winning with players that were influenced to come to LSU by Saban when they were just middle schoolers.
