We're getting the nod because The CoBo wants to market the Big12 exes v. Big 12 angle. It has nothing to do with which program is better. Plus, while the Cotton Bowl has more brand appeal, Clemson and OU are approximately equal opponents and both get time slots with no competition. This isn't a huge deal.
