Bottom line, I saw tons of swamp kittens saying how TAMU would NEVER get picked in a bowl above the mighty LSU, and that, my friend, is exactly what is going to happen.

This thread is nearly ten pages of aTm fans attempting to forget the actual LSU game.

This was when A&M was talking about how they were going to the Sugar or Fiesta Bowl. The chance for either team to make a BCS bowl is long gone.

I understand aggie fans being excited about the Cotton Bowl, but frankly, its like catching AIDS or dick cancer, one may be worse than the other, but they both suck pretty bad.

You're right. It cost us a shot at the NC. We play for titles, you play for moral victories by going to the Cotton Bowl. Such is life right now for your fanbase. It's a foreign concept to LSU fans, but you wouldn't understand. I mean, why would you?

Some of us realize the implications this has down the road. It's not about forgetting the game as much as it is about potential advantages they have in the future with recruiting and such.

Man that sounds pretty bad.

Edit: I think this thread serves a purpose though. It's allowing a lot of venting by both fan bases for all the anger that has accumulated throughout the season.

I have no hard feelings, though. Congratulations LSU coaches and players for beating ATM at home, I was very impressed. Hopefully, I'll get the opportunity to go to Death Valley and get the LSU experience next year.

It's especially hard because we didn't beat any team that was relevant this year.

Hey, USCe was pretty darn good this year.

how exactly does it translate to different situations when dealing with non BCS games?

LSU thinks it is a bigger draw, but as many (rational) A&M fans have told them, A&M historically gets the big draw even when there is absolutely no explanation for why. It's the reason we have such a terrible bowl record and it's the reason every fanbase in our old and current conferences hate us come bowl season....although I love the SEC revenue sharing so honestly don't give a shite just want to win big wherever we go (non BCS is all the same to me). Swamp kittens thought they were somehow above this, but they now have every right to bitch about it just like everyone else does and will continue to.

I'm not sure what these other ****s are saying, but all I'm saying is "I told you so, so respek my authoritay."

I'd be bitter too if I lived in Irving, the Metroplex's ghetto. Even the HEB residents lock their car doors when they drive through Irving. Perhaps one day your situation in life will improve and you'll change your user name to SouthlakeAg or LasColinasAg, although I think VidorAg is more likely.

This is... just so laughable and ironic coming from anybody who has had anything to do with Louisiana. I take pride in where I am from, though I had no control over it.

Why don't you go ask some of the players on your football team where they're from and then proceed to make fun of the locations?

I think Oklahoma will beat A&M. I just think if A&M plays an offense that can score points with them and play a lil defense then they are done. I think we see the A&M of old in this one.
