Ah yes, if your 1904 team didn't go undefeated, it makes the argument irrelevant, right?
Please at least consider how dumb you sound.

While bringing up Nebraska 95, I guess Alabama fans are conceding that this would be the best team in SEC HISTORY.
Good, that's a good starting place from which logic to take to root in your brains.
Don't any smart asses bring up Steadman Shealey or Major Ogilve or any of those cats. LSU could put Jefferson at safety and skulldrag those bitches.
I heard many people saying that this was the best Alabama team --
AND LSU IS GOING TO BEAT THEM TWICE, the second time right there in New Orleans, right near The French Quarters, and
And you guys really thought this was the best Bama team, didn't you

And one loss on January 9th from the trash dumpster of "great" teams. 1959 Ole Miss is dying to meet you.

We'll take our chances.
Would rather be playing for that than losing twice to the same team.

What do you think your god will be doing on championship weekend? Patting himself on the back for convincing you tards that losing to LSU was the best thing and all part of the plan?

LSU will beat nine ranked teams, including 4 top 5 teams.
Nebraska 95 can't compete with that since their season is over.
You're looking at the meaningless time-of-the-game rankings. LSU will not beat nine teams that finish ranked or four teams that finish in the top five, and Nebraska's 1995 team beat four teams that finished in the top 10 by an average margin of victory of 31 points. The other great teams are the 72 Trojans, the 71 Huskers, the 56 Sooners, the 45 Cadets and the 24 Irish. Check out their resumes.

That's not meaningless.
Nebraska played only four ranked teams all year. That were ranked at any time in the season.
It certainly appears that lsu will have 4 final top ten wins with Oregon, Arkansas and Alabama twice. Even in the final rankings.
And frankly, the Alabama team that we will beat twice would arse whip Kansas, msu and Colorado this were the ranked teams nu beat in the regular season.
In addition to playing 5 other teams that were ranked.

Lsu 2011 would have probably the best resume, but no way would it beat 1995 Nebraska, 2001 Miami, or probably some of those other Miami teams. And I personally think 2004 USC was an incredible team. 2008 Florida was awesome as well, and I think the sec was much stronger in 2008. Who knows.

Mike Lupica from The Daily News and the writer from the Post said that LSU would be the best team in college football history if they win the next two games.
Chris Low, who has covered the SEC all season, also said LSU would be the best team in SEC history if they won the next two games.
It looks like Bama is ineligible for either title.
