The dudes at LSU sporting events all the time so for personal reasons he would like LSU to be good AND as anyone who lives in Baton Rouge knows if LSU football goes to crap that’s a big dent in the local economy. Clearly he’s not dependent on Baton Rouge for his business but when you combine the two chipping in for part of a $50 million buyout over 6 years (or less depending on negations) becomes less of an issue.


$10million per year is a rounding error for him.



To be clear

He doesn’t OWE LSU anything but it makes sense for him to help for many reasons

Whatever, he basically has no money ties to UGA. All I was saying. LSU is more desirable than ever with Graves around.
