This was a great year for LSU!
We had 39 scholarship players and a back upside reciever at Qb plus an oline coach as HC in our bowl game last year. Less the a year later we in the SEC championship game. LSU is only going to get better. We're going to be ok.

The SEC Championship game is a title game between the winner of the SEC West and SEC East, I thought I would explain that to you since Ole Miss has never even sniffed it once

A lot of misfortune happened early in that game against LSU against the #1 team in the country on their home turf. LSU didn’t have the D- line & Ga wore them down with a strong running game in 2nd half. BK has to build up some depth at D-line and go get some quality DBs. Kirby built Ga over time & BK will too.

Did LSU really get destroyed? LSU out gained Georgia and averaged more YPP than Georgia. Georgia couldn't stop our passing game, and LSU couldn't stop Georgia on 3rd down.
Look Georgia is the MUCH better team. But if you take away the blocked punt return for a touchdown the game is 33-43. That goofy bonk off the helmet 3 bounce interception giving UGA 7 pts. Could've had the games final at 33-36. UGA also had a goal line stop on 4th down. Had we converted on 4th and 1 for a TD it could've been a 36-36 or 40-36 type of game. Of course that's a lot of what ifs. But it's also 2 fluke plays and you could never count on to happen in a game. Obviously the game looks differently from a playcall perspective had those plays gone differently, but to say LSU got destroyed is downplaying just how hard LSU pushed UGA for 4 quarters.
