I admit that I do not know much about your individual players, position strengths. I know the defense is pretty good, which is not surprising.
What's the 2 deep and experience levels? Is it a "young" team? Who are the super stars? I know Devin White but after him ?
What's the biggest strength and weakness?
Where are you better this year? More experienced?
TIA!

Short answer : you fukt baw.
long answer : bold is considered the best at position
NT we’re a major injury away from being on thin ice, Fehoko/Alexander/Shelvin
DE pretty good depth Lawrence/Logan/Fehoko
LB 3 good players for rotation, rest are inexperienced White/Phillips/Queen
OLB same as LB Divinity/Thornton/Anthony
CB same as LB Fulton/Williams/Alexander/Vincent Jr.
S stacked Delpit/Battle/Stevens/Paris

Better than last year which allowed fewest TD's in FBS

Biggest strength is the defensive line
Rashard Lawrence and Breiden Fehoko are studs and Glen Logan is coming along. Behind them are two five star nose tackles in Ed Alexander and Tyler Shelvin, Neil Farrell who is a very capable backup, and some new faces like Davin Cotton who is good right now but will emerge next year.
LB corps is loaded but hurting at pass rusher since K’Lavon Chaisson’s injury in week one. Jacob Phillips and Devin White are two extremely athletic linebackers in the middle who can play sideline to sideline. Phillips is more of a natural player at the position while White is a much more fluid and dynamic athlete.
At BOLB, we’re expecting Rahsaan Thornton or Andre Anthony to step up as a pass rusher in place of K’Lavon. At FOLB, former five star Michael Divinity has it on lock down as long as he isn’t suspended. He’s a rangy guy with some speed and has some pass rushing ability, overall a solid LB.
The secondary is still a work in progress with some new guys emerging. Greedy Williams is the #1 CB and should lock down anyone he goes against. CB #2 is true freshman Kelvin Joseph who looks terrific already but needs to settle down and find a groove. The nickel is senior transfer Terrence Alexander from Stanford who looks good and should progress even more as the season advances.
At safety there’s 5th year senior John Battle who plays the deep middle safety in most of Aranda’s alignments. He’s above average and that’s really it. SS is Grant Delpit and he’s been used closer to the LOS this year and making his present felt with excellent pass rushing and tackling. #3 Jacoby Stevens has also been used like Grant Delpit as a safety but he’s now being moved to OLB.
We’re still waiting on Todd Harris and Eric Monroe to come back (if they will) as they will add a ton to the secondary.
The defense is better at each unit this season except at pass rusher with the departure of Key. Most of the pass rush is coming from the interior DL and blitzes.

We are young, only 2 seniors get significant playing time in Battle and Terrance Alexander.
We aren't really inexperienced though. We have alot of guys that have started games for us in the past.
Superstars are Devin White, Rashard Lawrence, and Greedy Williams. K'Lavon Chaisson should be in that group, but he otre his ACL vs Miami.
I would say our greatest strength and weakness are kind of one in the same. We constantly play with a safety down in the box (Delpit/Stevens). We are able to use that player to come up and stop the outside runs, as well as create an extra defender that could come on a blitz. Even when he doesn't blitz, he has to be accounted for, creating alot of confusion for the O-Line. This is why it seems like a couple times a game we will just have free rushers at the QB. In saying that, our aggression can backfire. We are prone to give up big plays if a QB can stay poised, escape pressure, and make the right decisions quickly. Or if a RB can start inside and break to the outside amidst a large pile. We thrive on panic.... See Auburn 1st half 2017 vs Auburn 2nd half 2017. I don't believe we changed a whole lot at the half, we just limited the big plays, and made some big plays ourselves.
This year we are definitely better at our 2nd MLB spot. Philips is 1000x better than Donnie Alexander was last year. More experienced at safety.

Defensive line is very good, with decent depth. We start 2 juniors and a redshirt sophomore. Feheko (NT) looks like the real deal. Lawrence and Logan have been good. Depth at NT could be good, but it is unknown at this time. Ed Alexander (Jr) was suspended against SLU, but he played well against Miami. Behind him we have former 5* Tyler Shelvin (RS-Fr) and true freshman Dominic Livingston. Shelvin played a good number of snaps against SLU, and played Ok, but he's overweight and it showed. We're a little light on depth at end. Our top backups are a couple of sophomores from Alabama, Justin Thomas and Neil Farrell. They've been solid in limited action.
Linebacker is probably the best position group on the team. These guys are fast and powerful. Divinity, White and Phillips are the starters and behind them, we have Patrick Queen (SO) and Micah Baskerville (FR). Obviously you know about White, but Phillips has looked pretty good in his first real playing time and Divinity has been very good. He's a former high 4* JR, who looks like he's finally getting it. I'm very excited about him. As for the other linebacker spot, we're kind of waiting to see who is going to step up in Chaisson's (SO, Stud, ACL out for year) absence. We have Andre Anthony (RS-SO), Ray Thornton (SO) and Travez Moore (Juco) competing for playing time, but so far nobody has really distinguished themselves. They've been ok, so it's not like it's a glaring weakness over there.
The safeties are very good. Grant Delpit is one of our top 3 defenders. He was not named to the SEC all-freshman team, but was named to at least 2 Freshman All-America teams (USA Today & ESPN for sure. He's a stud and is all over the field. He regularly blitzes and is strong in run support. He's been a good tackler and is also pretty good in pass support. Our other starting safety is 5th year senior John Battle. He's been solid so far this year. Many were expecting him to lose his job to a young guy, but he's held them off. Behind them, we're pretty loaded with high 4* and 5* guys. Eric Monroe (RS-SO) is the guy most people thought would take Battle's job. He's been banged up, but is supposed to get back soon. Todd Harris (SO) is really good as well. He's a guy that was down to us or Alabama.
For corners, I'm sure you know Greedy Williams. Opposite him, we have Kelvin Joseph (FR) and Kristian Fulton (JR). They've both played well at times and gotten beaten at time. I don't think either has been anything more than solid yet. Fulton is coming back for a suspension, so he might just be rusty. Our primary nickels are Kary Vincent (SO) and grad transfer Terrance Alexander. They've also been solid.
Biggest strength is the linebackers. Biggest weakness is the corner spot opposite Greedy.
We're more talented across the board from last year. We lost some experience in the secondary, but have young talent that should easily replace the guys we lost. We're deeper and more talented on the defensive line.
Bottom line is, this is a very good defense.

It is a very good defense and all they need is for the offense to be average but that doesn't appear to be the case right now.

Thanks....
For the detailed responses. Like I said I'm not as familiar with LSus defensive players this year.
