Clearly you have never been to Syracuse.

FWIW- it looks like we traded a home and away with Syracuse for the NC State series. Much better place to play on the road than NC State.
I'd rather play NC State on the road than Syracuse.. I mean, neither school does much for your schedule.. but NC State is much nicer.
Would much rather play a team like Miami, Cal, UCLA.. someone with some weight behind the name.

Eh IDK it's going to be a pretty cool experience for the LSU alum in NYC to be able to make it over for a game.

That's a four hour drive from NYC. Bitch of a trip

Besides, we owe Syracuse for that '88 Hall of Fame Bowl arse beating.
TAMPA, Fla. — Syracuse delivered a message to Louisiana State and the proud Southeastern Conference yesterday with a 23-10 victory over the Tigers in the Hall of Fame Bowl.
Syracuse, winning a postseason game for the first time since defeating McNeese State in the 1979 Independence Bowl, finished with a 10-2 record.
LSU, co-champion of the Southeastern Conference, fell to 8-4 before a crowd of 51,112 in Tampa Stadium. The Tigers rallied from a 10-0 deficit to tie the score in the third quarter but were unable to stop Syracuse on two key offensive possessions that turned the game around.

You can make a nice little trip out of it if you take the train.

Probably just scared of NC state
I think after yesterday they just really wanted to show they could cancel something, anything, and at that point didn't care what it was.

I don't think you can take a train

They have one that runs from NYC to Niagra Falls that goes thru Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo and what not.

Makes sense. For whatever reason I was thinking of only metro north
Syracuse is a dump though. A game at MetLife or Yankee stadium would be tight

The aTm posters who got here post-SEC switch are the worst kind of stupid.

You've just got to understand, the corndogs have scheduling matters on the brain.
By that time, Miles would have already been run off by Saban. They're on the brink now-monumental butt-hurt.

I searched for a link and it turns out you are right. I never heard the report that it was back on, I guess.
I hope it stays on the schedule, because those should be fantastic games.
