So a bubble team,
We are bringing in 2 possibly 3 5-star players (including #1 overall player) and a formerly Top 50 transfer. We'll be better next year, even if they both leave, but there's a decent chance Mickey returns because he might not be draftable.

The committee didn't have us on the bubble as you could tell from our seeding

Geez. So you weren't a bubble team, which makes your collapse just that much worse.

I don't think anyone is denying that LSU/Mickey collapsed vs NC State.
LSU lacked depth.
Do you ever not troll?

how many post season invites does USCe have under Martin ?
Frank has an elite 8 and several tourney wins at his former school. He has only been here 3 years and it was a dumpster fire of epic proportions. If he had the talent LSU had we would have be for sure a sweet 16- elite 8 team.

i know you all did to an extent but you seemed to do just fine without mickey during our game. granted, we didn't play well but still, i think you had more depth than what was used throughout the season.

Frank has improved every year, going from 4 to 5 to 6 SEC wins. They are going to be a force in 4 years.

Really it was just Jalyn Patterson going crazy from 3-point range.
20/6 (7/11, 6/8) from a guy who averaged 6.8/2.2 (40%/37%)

Whose fault is that?
Every single player on our team this year was recruited by Johnny Jones.

Patterson is the reason LSU beat yall without Mickey IMO

true, he was quite the annoying turd that game.

We had practically zero depth for your game.
We had to start and play a guy 26 minutes who is absolutely terrible (Malone) and even brought a guy off the bench for 4 minutes who played in a total of 5 out of 17 previous SEC games.

Sometimes. But some of you guys would literally take offense to a brick wall. No one denies the talent y'all have coming in. It's also talent that has never played in the SEC before. My opinion is that LSU hoops will have a season next year much like this past one. Mainly because of the man who's in charge. That obviously offends some of your fans, but we'll see how it looks this time next year.

That's not what I asked. He has zero post season invites, FYI. For reference, Johnny Jones has as many conference wins this year as Matin does in the past two. Jones had as many conference wins in his first year as Martin had in his first two.
Jones has been on the job three years and after not getting any bids in year one, got an NIT bid, then got an NCAA Tourney bid. Meanwhile, Martin has improved each of his first three years as well: going from four to five to six conference wins over the same time frame. Nice!
Also, if you want to talk about dumpster fire, look up Andrew DelPiero. He was a tuba player at LSU before we had to use him at center. That's a dumpster fire.
At least half of being a good NCAA coach is recruiting. You said "if we had the talent that LSU has..." Well, you don't. Somehow Jones has upgraded his talent pool, while Martin keeps sucking arse.

LSU is the one program that loses their best players and guarantees to be better the next season. Johnny J will never guide that team any further than he did this season.
Care to point out which season under Jones's tenure that we didn't get better the next year?
Posted on 3/25/15 at 3:19 pm to Gcockboi
Well too bad you don't you all have that dumpster show
Posted on 3/25/15 at 3:28 pm to GCTiger11
Lol. Hard not to improve from 3 wins. I'm sorry that I don't have the confidence in JJ to make a deep tournament run. It's not personal. There is just no evidence to support it.
