ou taking a play from Auburn and just inventing titles now?

No, I can just count. LSU won the SEC in 1986, 1988, 2001, 2003, 2007, 2011, and 2019

Whoa… you are counting 1988. LSU fans don’t believe shared titles count. You guys give Ole Miss holy hell for flying a banner for a shared division title. And you give Alabama hell for claiming shared National Championships. LSU fans have repeatedly stated shared championships aren’t real championships.

Based solely on your own logic, LSU can not claim 1988.

you're really struggling ITT. LSU shared the title with Auburn. LSU also beat Auburn head to head in 1988. Who should claim that title?

Hey, you guys made the rule. Shared titles don’t count. So no one gets to claim it.

I didn't make any rule. So no one won the SEC in 1988? Or did you just forget how to count to 7? Take your pick

Correct, LSU fans say shared titles don’t count. No one won the SEC in 1988. You got a couple slices of the pizza as did Auburn, but neither of you got the whole pizza. Again, this is not my system, I am just following the rules established here.

Are you saying that shared titles are real? Are you arguing they DO count?

Georgia Tech and the Atlanta Falcons.

Are you referring to the 1988 SEC championship game?

This should be fun.

When did I, specifically, say they weren't real?

This is such a weird argument you're trying to have

But if this is how you want to play it, 2 of Penn St's 4 Big10 titles were shared. So do you want to update their number to 2 since you're "just following the rules"?

You have this weird obsession with LSU. Shouldn't you be thinking about your teams game against Auburn? Makes no sense to me.

Must have missed that in your OP, but "8 claimed national championships" since your now stated 1970..... that's a listed I'd like to see.
