Just be glad yall have a QB who can actually get the ball to the reciever. I cant even tell you how many time I saw Todd try to throw a simple swing pass to Mario Fannin and it never even make it to him. Or it was behind Fannin, which caused him to stop running, which then lead to the defender closing on him and killing him.
Yeah, don't get me wrong. Mallett is undeniably a special player that I'm ecstatic decided to transfer to Arkansas. But for all his good points, he DOES have a problem with touch.

i remember him from the bama game. dropping easy catches, getting popped going over the middle, and generally playing scared.
I remember Ingram rushing for 2 yards/carry against Arkansas. He must suck.

This will be a major key to our success this year. We have to remember that's he's only started in 16 NCAA games. You would think that his experience this year in SEC play will make him a better QB this season.

So you did not see your entire defense assault Jones when he touched the ball in the Arky game this year. Or when they done the wildcat TD pass to Jones and Jones stiff armed the Arky defender to the ground... let me guess you didn't watch that game?

Yes I saw, but that was one game. Childs made some strong breaks all year and not in just one game.

I try and forget it

Why do you bama guys keep coming into my threads pimping your players?
Talent wise, Jones is a monster but he's done nothing compared to Childs...GTFO of my thread

Not trying to flame, but over the last couple of months, there has been a lot of moaning about Arky players not being picked on AP lists. Damn guys, they are underclassmen, just give it some time.

That's a meaningless comparison, Sao, and you know it. Using that method, Snead > Mallett.
If it's meaningless perhaps we should move on to a Darvin v. McCluster comparison. Dexter took a steaming dump on us to the tune of 137 Rec and 260 Rcv/Ru. Beat the living hell out of our defense.
It's the same defense Darvin played against. Why such a contrast? It just is what it is in SEC play...Childs >> Adams.

Mystery solved. Dexter McSteamer, Hardy Boys. Dexter McSteamer!

Low agrees...Childs was screwed
i remember him from the bama game. dropping easy catches, getting popped going over the middle, and generally playing scared.
Pretty much, and he had other miscues in other games. If he can improve his focus this year he will be special and have an opportunity to make some serious $.

I agree that Childs is a heck of a reciever, but I also have to say that if Mallett would have gone to another reciever rather than trying to force it into Childs they may have gotten a few more 1st downs. There was a lot of times that DJ Williams was open, that he was past up.

FWIW we didn't need him that game. McElroy lit up your "defense" to the tune of 17-24 for 291 yds.
