wow you're a really nice person.
can't understand how you can like someone who is essentially stealing money from OM and leaving the program an even bigger dumpster fire than when he found it (something i thought would impossible to do).

I wouldn't even celebrate that win. I'd call bullshite and then go on about my business.
I'm with you. I wouldn't know whether to celebrate the biggest upset of all time or get pissed off that we had this shitty of a record.

um......that kinda IS coaching.
and when I say "kinda is".....I really mean just "IS".

Here I thought Auburn made strides when we played Ole Miss.
And now I'm thinking Auburn just so happens to fricking suck, and Ole Miss just happens to epically fricking suck.

Tech in a BCS conference would quickly become upper mediocre to lower good, and would gather a few recruits they miss now.

I don't think so. Outside of Bolden, OM had no threat on offense. The play calling was OK, they just could not execute. And it really starts up front... no push and tons of pressure on the QB. That's just not very much talent... which I guess can also be blamed on the coaches for not recruiting very good players.

I think you mean "consistently." I think we are a middle of the pack SEC team this year.

coa.........ching.
We do have some really good playmakers on offense. The problem is that our best ones are either freshman or first year juco transfers.
But our main problem is that we have bum-assed coaches for our OL and S&C coach. Both are embearassing and both pad their numbers just so they can deflect blame. What sunk Nutt was his inability to let go of his friendships with those two coaches. They've been with Nutt for something like 17 years.

Pump the brakes there, bud. You have a good team.....but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

Seriously. I think we would match up well with the following:
Auburn
Miss State
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
Kentucky
Ole Miss
*This year... not consistently!

La Tech is pretty legit. They beat us almost as bad as Kentucky did, therefore they would probably be competing with Bama and LSU for the West this year. Duh

None of these are "middle of the pack SEC teams". You just listed the bottom 6 teams in the conference. You saying that you match up well with them says that you match up with the worst teams in the conference.
Auburn is middle of the pack. But you never know what you're going to get with them.
Like I said.....pump your brakes. Don't base judgement on how you played against the two craptastic Mississippi teams.

There's a HUGE difference between Alabama and Ole Miss and LSU and Mississippi State. They are in the same conference and that's about it.

There's only 12 teams in the conference.

But your still basing this off of beating us and taking a slightly less shitty MSU to OT.
Like I said....pump the brakes. You haven't played anyone "middle of the pack" to base judgement.
and Vandy would beat you. I'd bet on Auburn as well. Now, there are two of the 6 that you listed. Which leaves 4 SEC teams left out of 12.......

Give Tech the SEC TV and conference money and being in a talent rich state like Louisiana they would do pretty well in the SEC. I never understood why MS has 2 SEC teams anyway?

Blame MSU. We were here first. They just felt like they didn't fit in with the "uppity-assed rich kids".
