I thought I remembered him being part of the issue at Arkansas. I was worried when we added him. Obviously I had a reason. I say let Nix coach the last 2 games. He is assistant hc and his defense while young has looked good. I know people don't like him but I don't think he is a bad coach. Defense had 1 bad year under him and we lost most our starters on d the year before. I mean it can't get worse right?

To be fair Nix's defense has held La Tech's 3rd string walk on RB who had no college offers to less than 200 rushing yards. but he's still gaining about 10 yards per carry so he might get there soon

They are still very young, but yes I would say our defense has been the only positive thing this game and most of the year. It gets hard when the offense goes out for 3 plays and then the d goes right back out there. They are tired. They have played the majority of the game. They at least look like they are giving it all they have. I don't think you can ask more of them when your offense is unproductive.

Nix is the majority of the problem in my opinion. You can at least rationalize the offense by saying Nutt doesn't have a legit quarterback on offense, but the defense actually has some talent on it.

You think our dog shite defense was the best thing of the whole year about our team? I would say Moncrief and Brassell and our DBs have been the better part of our team.
