I attended every Bama game (except the away games at MSU, Arkansas, and Duke) between 2010 - 2013. The loudest game was 2012 LSU in DV. The 2011 Florida game in Gainesville was crazy loud as well. Another one that sticks out was Penn State pregame 2010, I was on the sideline at kickoff and I thought my ears were going to bleed.

2008 OM vs Florida

That was riot level insanity. One of my good friends ended up in the hospital as he damn near cut his hand off climbing the goalpost.

If we're counting NFL games, I'd say the loudest moment was when the Falcons returned a fricking pick 6 vs Palmer in '12 against the Raiders. I was left heartbroken after that game because I really thought we were going to pull off the upset until that point. Then Matt Bryant kicked a game winning FG at the end.

Start to finish?

1989 Iron Bowl, Bama at Auburn

Single loudest individual moment?

2013 Iron Bowl - Kick Six

Figured that. Some of our own fans aren't the most welcoming. Went to opening game in '10 in Nashville when the Titans hammered us like 40-13 or in some blowout. It was pretty brutal, but there were some Raider fans talking shite the whole game, even though we were getting killed.

Would still love to go and experience it. Raiders-Chiefs rivalry is very underrated.

Loudest pop I've ever heard in Tiger Stadium.

Loudest game I attended was 07 vs Florida. The secound-loudest pop was during this game, when they announced USC had lost to Stanford

College (Any venue)-- LSU, 2012. After Landry's TD, my vision was blurring from the sound.

College (home)-- Sadly, the 2010 Iron Bowl. That first half after Dareus sacked Cam up 24-0, I thought the Stadium would collapse.

College (moment)-- 2009 Tennessee Rocky Block. I have hair raising on my arm just thinking about it.

Pro-- Sadly, any night Falcons-Saints game in the SuperDome. Those unemployed drunks turn up to another level when the Dirty Birds roll in at night. Just deafening.

I had the privilege of being in some of the best stadiums for big games because of my wife's job.

The top 5 loudest stadiums I personally experienced are all swappable for position - about the same, but I rank them:

1) Swamp in Gainesville
2) Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge
3) Beaver Stadium in University Park
4) Memorial Stadium in Clemson
5) Neyland Stadium in Knoxville

I thought it was loud at ATM, Bama, Arkansas, and Auburn at times but not sustained like these. Michigan and Ohio State are overrated. They may hold a lot of people, but I swear you wonder if anyone is watching the game at times. I've never been so bored at a live football game than at Ann Arbor. I thought the Shoe was a great venue except that track, which they have now removed and I have not been back since then.

Never been to Oregon but claims by Herbstreit that 55K people are louder than these others seem really off the mark.

The loudest game I ever experienced and simultaneously the most silent contrasting moment was the Florida State Florida game the year that Dunn caught a short pass from Charlie Ward and went the distance.

2014 Ole Miss @ LSU when we lost 10-7. Ears were ringing the whole game and when Bo threw the pick at the end I thought they were going to explode.

Really? How did your friend get past the German Shepherds and the army of deputies lining the field?

I'm old and was away from Louisiana building a career so it'd have to be from my youth...some of the A&M games in the 80's were up there but only one still gives me goosebumps when I think about it...37 years later it's still the mythical LSU-USC game from 1979
