The only thing I don't like about playing Florida is that in years we play Florida on the road we play Alabama at home and vice versa. That makes it hard to go undefeated and get into the title hunt.

Agreed

In the last 5 years of college football the ranking of BCS teams by winning percentage has Flor at #2, LSU #5, Aub #11, and Bama #14.

Those are the top ranked SEC schools and LSU is the only school in the SEC who has played each school each year.

But there's nothing they can do about it. They'll pout in the corner. Throwing a shite fit =/ giving A&M any trouble doing what they want. The lege has cared in the past. This time around, not so much

What has changed from last summer to convince you of this?

Do you really think Baylor held the conference together last year? Despite your article you like to post with Larry Scott saying Baylor was bitching? The conference stayed together last year because A&M and Texas both decided to stay in the Big XII. Had little to do with Baylor

If Texas wanted to go independent or to the Pac-12, they could. If A&M wants to go to the SEC, they can, and probably will at some point. Baylor is SOL

Scott said a "tsunami of political pressure" from state politicians in Texas killed the Pac 16 deal once it became apparent that Baylor would be left out last summer. I'm not making that up, the Pac commissioner said those words.

Look, I hope A&M can go - you know that. I have wanted Texas and A&M to be able to break free to do what they want for years now. But there is no denying history, especially recent history. If the aggies have found a way to run the political gauntlet, good for them.

Just to spice things up, since this is a TexAgs created beast today, here is a new TexAgs rumor that Landry Jones has a broken arm:

I'm not sure what political pressure Baylor could enforce on the commisioner of an west coast conference. What were there threats? What do those west coast liberals care about a bunch of conservative baptists in texas?

Baylor really doesn't have the political clout they once did. There only hope would be to threaten to withhold presidential campaign money from Perry

I heard Travis Lewis broke his foot and will be out 8 weeks. I haven't heard anything about Landry Jones. I hope that's not true

The threats were made by state politicians to the Texas schools who were considering the Pac 16. It seems like it would be illegal to me for a state legislature to jack with funding for a public university because of college sports affiliations BUT these kinds of threats intimidated both Texas and A&M both last summer and when the SWC blew up.

LB Traivs Lewis broke a bone in his foot, expected to miss 8 weeks.

Drunk is just stirring the pot, posting what he knew was a bad troll job from TA to get the TA haters here riled up. A double troll perhaps?
