Hurts immobile QBs like AJ McCarron

Stopped reading here. AJ is mobile, he just isn't 4.4 speed mobile. If you've watched him play more than a couple of games you'd know that, and he has the best pocket presence in CFB outside of JFF.

I know we're not looking for logical shite here, but I don't expect either to regress.

When Johnny runs the opposite direction of the play, that puts a lot of pressure on the O-lineman not to hold. Luke was the best I've ever seen because of his strength and quickness.

Thats something not alot of people notice, scrambling QB's are tough on O-Linemen the fact that they didn't get penalized alot is a credit to their O-Line Coach.

I think A&M's line will be fine especially with how well they are recruiting, but Bama always has someone just as talented to step up and take over when someone leaves/graduates.

The best of a bad group is still bad.

Idiotic statement. Manziel is not a traditional running QB OR throwing QB. Quit trying to put him in your little group to make your argument look better.

Best pocket presence in college football outside JFF? You're high.

Difference being number of starts and playing time. You don't think some of those Bama guys will be overwhelmed and go through some growing pains?

I for one think AJ takes a pretty big step back this year, and Johnny takes a pretty big step up.

AJ will be just as good. The O'line will need guys to step in.

I get you're excited but our running game is what aTm needs to look out for...

Don't get too wrapped up with Bama and AJ or your arse will get raped again by LSU,UF, and a few more.

You guys had a great running game this year. You couldn't beat us. At home.

We won't. Because your offensive line needs to rebuild, and your QB is immobile. I just explained this.

Yeah but Bama's o-line doesn't need to be as good/disciplined as A&M's with the style of offense each team runs.

Bama can deal with the growing pains a little better than A&M can. I don't think we will see much difference in the protection JFF got last year though.

I don't think they can, especially if they get behind early like last time.

This. Even with less experienced lineman, JFF's style of play will bail his line out of tough situations. As long as the line is well-coached enough to limit holding, JFF's performance should be similar to this year, IMO.

I think you'll need to find someone who can stop AJ with all of his skill position players returning sans Lacy.
