Jared Sullinger. his brother JJ played at Ark but left when Nolan was fired. where'd he go?

He had signed a LOI. He was going to Arky until Nolan was fired
I normally would make fun of Arkansas fans for thinking they would get everyone but this actually was true. Iggy was absolutely dominant for the Wildcats too. Could have made Arkansas relevant / save NOlan all by himself

Don't be a ranter. Mike Conley's dad went to Arkansas and they lived in Fayetteville for many years. They were very close to Nolan. He most likely would have been a Hog.

Oh I'm not! I figured if Arky was drawing so much interest from guys like Conley, Oden, Iguodala, Sullinger, etc that they were probably close to landing a lot of the other guys I mentioned too!

Igoudala had already signed, was given a release along with JJ Sullinger.
We lost Mike Conley Jr., Greg Oden, Daequan Cook, Igoudala, the Pressey kid, JJ Sullinger, Jared Sullinger, and possibly Josh McRoberts, Al Jefferson, and Kendrick Perkins. If the drama around Nolan hadn't been there many say Emeka Okafor was Arky bound, which now compounds into #1 recruit this season Jahlil Okafor, who was born in Ft. Smith and spent his childhood in the area before his mom died and going to live w/ his Dad in Chicago fulltime.
The BS surrounding Nolan basically made Thad Motta the big winner.
