Any Auburn fan who says there's no evidence is fooling themselves. Is there enough evidence to hit us with probation/vacate wins right now? No.

But if the NCAA goes after this TR stuff and connects dots and hammers them, they'll have no problem connecting the dots with AU and Cam.

i have a real hard time believing that the ncaa could have info on us and not be running with it. what happens with this will have zero affect on the cam case.

If the case was closed, it'd be closed.

Yes, because we all know how fast they acted on the USC case.

because its so hard to tell that cams parents werent living in a 700k house

they lived in fricking college park (bubba sparkxxx). one of the most ghetto places in atlanta. im pretty sure you would have been able to tell if they were getting any benefits.

It won't close.

Eventually, the statute of limitations will run out and we'll hear, until the end of time, about how Auburn got away with it.

Blah blah blah.

This is what always makes me nervous.... they always say they are investigating, everyone forgets about it, and then BOOM.

It happened with the textbooks, USCw and it is Just happened with USCe... I can't think of a time that hasn't happened.

1. Not everybody blows $180k on a house.

2. $180k will get you a decent house in some parts of the country. It won't get you much in Atlanta.

They acted very quickly... once they had evidence (in the form of someone connected to the situation going on the record when he sued the Bush family).

They're not fricking around because they have other shite going on. They're moving slowly, if at all, because they don't have a smoking gun. Maybe one will surface. Maybe there isn't one. Who the frick really knows?

The big thing that caught my eye was Jacobs saying they were investigating institutional control. They dont worry about that until they find something. Granted, it could just be a secondary violation they found though.

No they didn't. LINK

•November 2007 Lloyd Lake, Michaels' former partner, meets with the NCAA to discuss claims he gave cash to Bush. Lake's attorney, Brian Watkins, says before the meeting that Lake would provide evidence to investigators that Lake provided more than $290,000 in cash and additional considerations to Bush and his family.

This amounts to 13 victories, including the Orange Bowl victory over Oklahoma in the national championship game for the 2004-05 season.

I thought it was odd that no one really reported that except the Birmingham News... For a group of reporters who have grasped at every straw to then suddenly decide that admission of an investigation of institutional control wasn't really news is fascinating.

So you are suggesting there are really nice houses in College Park for 180k?

He met with them in 2007, but he didn't give them the actual evidence then. You are a master of the cut-and-paste, unfortunately they don't tell the whole story.

It's the same deal with Shapiro at Miami. He started talking a while back, but it's going to take a very long time to verify claims, corroborate stories, etc.
