you beat a team with 8 nfl players choosing to sit on the bench

No one cared about winning the bowl that determined 6th place

Man... a bowl game nobody cared about (although I seem to remember seeing the tv audience in the multi millions?) and A&M hasn't won, or even been to, a bowl of that quality in over 20 years??? SAD.

Actually Aggie played in a bowl game against the big 12 champion in 2012 and beat the crap out of them

You got the second place team that didn’t care

We have a "winner".. Bingo Blackout! Hopefully you have room left in that Hall of Champions to showcase your trophy.

Sugar bowl
7.3 rating
13.3 million viewers

Cotton bowl 7 years earlier
7.2 rating
11.9 million viewers

Wow, you owned yourself

That's weird - this says that the bowl game you played in was a non-bcs bowl game. I'm sure this is wrong though.

Because I also seem to remember Kansas State playing in the Fiesta Bowl as Big 12's champion representative.

I mean, I get the confusion given the fact that A&M basically never wins conference championships, so you would probably not know too much about it.

Also, K-State beat OU that year, having the tie breaker. Looks like you "got the second place team that didn't care"

So I was right - A&M hasn't played in a bowl game with 13.3 million viewers. Your non-BCS bowl game is evidence of that.

Again, not surprised. You weren't smart enough to get into Texas, so I'm sure your mathematical comprehension was just not up to scale to understand that 11.9 is indeed less than the number 13.3

horn wants to talk about last year because a coach that lost to Jimbo smoked them a few weeks ago

Sad!

So OU was the big 12 champion

That’s a fact

Aggie beat the crap out of them in the cotton bowl

Another fact

The ratings and viewership was almost identical to your sugar bowl despite it being a non bcs bowl and 7 years earlier

Another fact

Wow, Aggie owning sip has never been easier

OU was second by tiebreak and therefore did not get the BCS bowl game that is reserved for the champion of the league, being relegated for the team that finishes second in the league.

That's a fact

The ratings and viewership was more than a million less to The University of Texas's Sugar Bowl Championship.

Another fact

Texas A&M to this day has still not played in a BCS or NY6 bowl game since January 1, 1999.

Another Fact

Texas has played in 5 BCS or NY6 bowl games in that time and won 4 of them.

Another Fact

Texas's season last year culminating in a Sugar Bowl Championship against the SEC's second best team would be A&M's greatest finish since the end of the 1987 season, despite barely being in Texas's top 10 seasons in that same time frame.

Another devastating fact

Wow, Longhorns owning a Longhorn reject has never been easier

This moral victory you claim means nothing now that the playoffs exist

You fail to see the irony how you celebrate finishing 5th

Not winning the CFP but thinking you are champions, thats how Tennessee started

Sure they are "Life Champions tm" now but to everybody else they are just "special"

This moral victory by trying to undermine Texas accomplishments means nothing considering A&M has never achieved said accomplishments in our lifetime.

You fail to see the irony how you say that finishing in the top 4 is the only thing that matters, despite the fact that A&M and Northwestern are the only ones to fail to accomplish doing that in any sport since WWII

Yay!

Vanderbilt and Missouri isn't exactly what comes to mind when anyone thinks "SEC Football"

Well, Vanderbilt has a winning record against texas. Made them cry so bad they stopped letting the Dores play the state fair and let Sooners in.

I’m not claiming victory over anything

You however are celebrating the championship of having just few viewers more in s less important game

Actually this started by you stating that Texas has hired a coach that will perpetually go 8-4.

I reminded you that his accomplishment in the most previous season would equal the greatest Aggie Football team achievement in the past 30 years.

Keep up squirt. Sorry for the humiliation this afternoon by helping you realize your school has accomplished very little, and is now paying $75 million to continue accomplishing very little

Do you realize that you’ve paid almost that same amount to win 6.5 games a season over the last 7 years?

I do realize that. I think Texas switched coaches for that very reason. We then won the sugar bowl in this new coach's second year.

Do you realize that A&M has not accomplished something in the previous 30+ years that the current Texas coach accomplished his second season on the job?

Sarge et al- serious question here- who do yall believe would win if aggy and Texas met on a neutral field today?

And take the burnt orange ref conspiracy out of it- let’s call in Big 10 officials.
