Aggy always talks about just how awful Texas was to them. And to some degree, I am betting that you weren’t that kind to them.

But damn, did you have to put up with This Much Crying all the time in the big 12?

If you're not winning, you are most likely crying, so to answer the question... yup.

That's all it is. End of discussion.

You think OU would go to the CFP every year if they were in the SEC?

Cmon you’re better than that. Did the boys in austin want a disproportionate piece of the pie for the proposed network between horn and Aggie?

You are saying Kaiser is not telling the truth?

Well to be fair the SWC combined was less than Oklahoma by itself.

texas is exhibiting classic displacement in trying to demean their daddies Oklahoma and Nebraska while displacing that anger and rage to their siblings in the SWC and B12.

If texas was serious about getting healthy they would send Oklahoma to the PAC or SEC then join the B1G and learn to get along with other underachieving schools like Michigan. Hell a game every year with Michigan may be just what the doctor ordered to get both some baby steps on the road to recovery.

I want to a full history of the SEC but Alabama, along with LSU, Auburn, TENN, UGA, Vandy, Ole Miss, MISS. State, UK, Florida (all Current members) were all founding members of the SEC. 3 others, Tulane, GA. Tech and Sewanee (all part of the Southern Conference as well) were the other 3.

I am pretty sure the first president / commissioner of the SEC when founded was the old president of Kentucky.

Dr Dudley - who founded the SIAA - was born and raised in KY before attending the University of Cincinnati for college. He joined Vanderbilt as an educator and staff member and was probably the biggest source of sports success in the south under his early leadership

FWIW, I think Sewanee - the original purple tigers - has been working on a film about the Iron Men. I think it was supposed to release this fall but have not followed up lately to see if that schedule is still on.

I like where we are. Lots of great OOC games on the docket. Big 12 has some great teams and some crappy teams, like every other conference. Fully admit SEC has 3-4 top teams (aggy is not included) and we only have 1-2, but still a solid conference (Big 10 and PAC are struggling).
OU is a huge game every year- more than likely twice a year. Control our own playoff destiny. We have a ton of young talent and the future is bright.

Meanwhile $75M for 7.5 wins... yikes

Name them please

Didn’t the second best team have 4 losses including a loss to Maryland?

Here’s another fun one

We actually have 8.5 years left to see what that average is but it’s 9 wins right now

Where as horns averaged 6.5 wins over the last 8 years in exchange for 63 million for head coaches
