Maybe one day you'll figure this out, most likely not.

UT, OU, NU, A&M & Kansas consistently voted against equal revenue sharing on every occasion. Weiberg & Dodds pushed the network for two years, couldn't even get it to the voting stage. 5 years later, five... Dodds starting working with media groups on Texas centric programming & tried to package A&M deal. A&M declined.

"Lost in the shuffle of all these mega-million conference TV contracts is the Big XII conference. In 2007, then-commissioner Kevin Weiberg threw his hands up in the air trying to get the members to address forming a Big XII TV network and revenue sharing and quit, moving on to help Jim Delaney and the Big Ten establish their TV network. Now he is the deputy commissioner of the Pac-10 conference at this crucial time."

So you're saying TEXAS did all that with one vote out of 12 (or 10)

No, they had the fate of some lesser sister from the SWC days and some Nebraska dislike from the old 8

You are Baghdad Bob
No one believes even 50% of the things that Dodds said

The pac 12 called your school dishonest and untrustworthy when asked why they refused to offer tu an invitation after you begged

OU was out of their mind for not jumping to the sec over Missouri.

Why, they go to the CFP every year. They wouldn't in the SEC.

Be careful Stone, these two have been working the scene for years.. sandbagging, dealing from the bottom of the deck, skimming the girl scout cookie revenue, shaking down the newspaper delivery boy... ruthless, just ruthless.

Aggy always talks about just how awful Texas was to them. And to some degree, I am betting that you weren’t that kind to them.

But damn, did you have to put up with This Much Crying all the time in the big 12?

Seriously the biggest group of whiners ive seen. Are all ags like sarge, driveby and cheese grits ( whom, btw, was actually there at the expansion talks)?

You are deliberately mixing up all your facts to prove something that did not happen.

While it is true that those schools may have voted no on equal sharing for certain items, the general idea of the TV network would've been revenue sharing. You said so in your own second paragraph:

quote:

Lost in the shuffle of all these mega-million conference TV contracts is the Big XII conference.

The chief offender among them was, I'll give you three guesses.

Yes, Dodds was/is that arrogant that he would blow up a conference TV network deal that required the sips to be equal partners. You stated above that all of those schools routinely voted against equal sharing, but you've not once proved that those schools would've voted or did vote the same on a conference TV network.. Each of the departing schools went to conferences with equal revenue sharing from a TV networks, which is the ONLY proof of how they would have acted if presented with a revenue-sharing Big 12 network deal.

It was you, the fricking Longhorns who would not agree to equal partnership in the network, and proof of that is in subsequent t-sip actions in forming that albatross you have now, which prevents a conference network.

This horse shite spin and deflection is tired and fricking old.

And there was never a Texas-centric network deal to be had. That is another lie.

Even if there were, if you think in anyway such a deal would have been an equal partnership with A&M, you're a crack smokin motherfricker. Dodds is a fricking asswipe. His ridiculous attitude reflected the general longhorn attitude toward other conference partners. He (along with all you dildo wavers) is solely responsible for all the shite that went down, including multiple big fan base members of the big 12 getting the frick out.

The conference could not agree on a conference network TV deal because the Longhorns wanted the lion's share.

That's all it is. End of discussion.
