Its not shopped.
Photographer took a series of pictures and one of the pictures just happened to catch the hand with a couple fingers bent.
Its not a down turned longhorn sign.

It's entirely possible he just didn't know about the whole deal. He was a coach at Wisky, and now coaches at Arkansas when they haven't had ties to or competition with Texas in decades. There's no particular reason he would be aware of how sensitive the Sips are to that gesture other than the general "Sips are a bunch of crybabies" knowledge that everyone possesses.
