There is a country radio station in Athens with the call sign WNGC.

There was a TV show about a radio station in Cincinnati that was WKRP and they had a Carp for a mascot. Do you think it was a radio station for fish?

So when that radio station changes it’s format do you feel those call letter will mean the same thing?

The NG does and will always mean North Georgia which is where Athens is located.

My god, you need help.

I don’t blame them for wanting to claim the north Georgia foothills and mountains, but Athens isn’t part of that. It’s not. Pretty much anything south of Cartersville just isn’t in the north Georgia region.

Your map has terrible scale issues.

Dude have you ever lived in Augusta and the coastal areas?

It definitely does. But go ahead and look at any map you want that does not, and you will see Athens is firmly not in middle Georgia.

I have no problem with your defending your opinion....no matter how wrong I might think they are. But don't argue indefensible stuff that can easily be refuted.

So you feel that Georgia has multiple north designations? Because it is undeniable not foothills/ mountain like the typical north Georgia areas. It’s not even Cartersville type north Georgia.

So you want Athens to be southern north Georgia? That’s just weird. And it’s not typical of the coastal regions so that would need a different designation.

So Athens must be Southern North non coastal East Ga. makes perfect sense and much better than the regional and cultural designation of middle Georgia which it’s always been. It’s West of the east region, North of the south regions, South of the North regions but not middle(it’s middle)

I never said I did, but I did get to experience two uga wins in Neyland during my 4 years at uga.

Guess which 2 they were.

We have no proof of you actually graduating, but none of us care, one way or another.

But as you now know, Athens is closer to hiawasee than it is to Macon.

No one questions it because I don’t have to lie and contradict myself. I don’t pretend to be something I’m not. Unlike you.

Of course you are the one that thinks it was uga fan boys that voted him the MVP of the 2005 SECCG. What a stupid implication.

It must be the pain of having to relive multiple 4 losses in a row to UGA that is keeping you from finding the answer to your question. I only attended UGA for one of those streaks though.

No. It is simply North Georgia. Do you think it is northern South Georgia? Or Northern Middle Georgia?

What an odd question.

Uhhhhh ... for some reason I'm recalling Ga didn't make it to the play-offs OR even win the conference.

So, how could Ga be considered king? Maybe in the state of Ga.
