Any chance we can wait for facts, evidence and a somewhat unbiased sanctioning body to make a decision before we finalize that?

So nobody really knew USC paid Reggie Bush until 5 years after he had played because the NCAA drug their feet for so long?

Absolutely not. Everybody knows for a 100% FACT that Auburn cheats. The NCAA told everyone except Auburn fans that we're getting hammered once they feel like it

They had a paper trail of house his parent's were living in that was paid for by an agent. Got anything remotely close to that on Auburn?

Yeah, for a cheeseburger, a grade dispute (under Saban), and the latest being a hotel room for a recruit who never played a down for LSU. Because the idiot recruit showed up early before the dorms opened and the idiot coach thought it was allowed.

That's our entire 'sordid' history with NCAA penalties. In each case, LSU self-caught, self-reported, and self penalized itself. And the NCAA agreed with LSU's self imposed penalties in each case.

Don't even try and put LSU in the same category as Auburn and Alabama.

Wait a second. You don't really believe that do you?

Now I know you don't know what you are talking about. The NCAA hasn't ruled yet on the latest self reported violations.

Which part? The fact that the recruit never played a down at LSU? Or that he showed up early? It's widely known to be the case in each.

They have both previous times, and there's no reason to think they won't do differently this time either. LSU gained no 'competitive advantage' and we're not a serial offender, and we've never been accused of anything major.

Bet you wish that was true of your school.

Being accused of paying Patrick Peterson 80k would be major

Until the NCAA said so those were rumors along the lines of pro bono construction work and trucking contracts.

How about the fact that an assistant coach provided improper transportation and an apartment to a football player less than half of its fmv (oh yeah, and another student athlete was found to have been given the same deal on the apartment previously) and had a female staff member "escort" said athlete around town. Also, thousands of impermissible phone calls to recruits unrelated to said assistant football coach.

We're talking about the same recruit genius. And he never played a down at LSU.

Link? This has never been part of report released to the NCAA by LSU that I'm aware of. Speculation doesn't count.

Again, same coach, same recruit. Self-caught, self-reported, self-penalized.

The coach was immediately suspended from all duties, his phone was confiscated, and he was not allowed any further contact with recruits.

This happened early in the recruiting season and in effect, LSU finished a man down and lost a couple of recruits as a result.

Again, no competitive advantage to LSU, no serial offense, no major penalties in the past.

You really want to believe we are as bad as your school is. Keep trying. And hold your breath while you do.

Anyone who has had any contact with Frank Broyles. If you think he ran a clean program you are completely insane.
