The sec west and one side of the bcsncg will be decided the third week of the season. It will either be Alabama or it won't be Alabama. A&M has a chance to win the west, but they will not be in the bcsncg regardless because they will drop a game or 2 in the sec. Sophomore slumps are FTL and ppl will have JFF figured out.

You're new to the SEC so I'll give you a pass. LSU has had an offense that is hard to watch for several years. Despite that, we are the only team that has consistently hung with Bama in the Saban era. Not sure why that changes now.
That ugly offense was good enough to beat the Aggies in College Station last year.

Im simply asking who you think A&M drops the other "game or two" to?
You could easily lose to Ole Miss. Auburn is a bit of a stretch but stranger things have happened.

You don't know what you're talking about. We bring the wood for Alabama 9 times out of 10. Every Miles-Saban game other than the BCSCG has been a barn burner. There is no reason to think this season will be any different.

This is 2013, not 2012. I know you want to assume that everything will pick up right where the bowls left off but it doesn't work that way.

Agreed...TCU seems to be a team Les fricks up against more so than A&M.

LSU defense + 2 missed FGs within 30 yards and a missed PAT (i wanted to murder our kicker) is why you beat us. You got in JFF's head and forced him into making bad plays. A loss is a loss and I give credit where credit is due, we lost plain and simple. I think it will be a different story this year in TS. Last year too many "new things" trying to come together (ie Miamis Big 3 their first year losing to Dallas) I think with another year of Sumlin, JFF, and our young talent being together we should come into TS with maybe 1 loss and leave the same way. We lost alot of defense and a great OLine in Joeckel but we will be fine.

You can tell A&M is new to the conference by the way their fans think A&M will just waltz into Death Valley and get the W. In my 3 years at LSU, I believe Alabama is the only team to accomplish such a thing. I know y'all probably think otherwise, but A&M is not quite that status yet
Note: Alabama didn't even get the win with ease like some of you aggies are predicting

This is exactely what I am reading.
There is no other SEC game that day so it will be on CBS...natoinal audience. LSU just doesnt lose that many games on that kind of stage. This looks like a standard LSU run the ball, run the ball, run the ball and just wear out A&M keeping JFF on the sidelines.

I will be furious if we lose to TCU. They are constantly over rated, but I think in this case that gives them an advantage. Much like the Clemson game, TCU has something to prove and LSU might over look them.

This would be one of thier biggest program wins.

I was thinking we would do the Paso Doble into BR and win by 3 touchdowns, but it could be the waltz, or the Argentine Tango.

It is also their chance to prove that they can really run with the big dogs, and should be taken seriously when it comes to BCS consideration

It doesn't matter why the beat us. They won fair and square. We lost. We didn't do what we needed to do to win. A kill is a kill. For the same reason, it won't matter that we sashay out of BR with a 3TD victory.

All I read here are a lot of excuses

Even though I understand people saying LSU will not hang with Alabama, since 2005 there have only been 3 double digit victories for either team. (And yes, this includes the BCS game). These two teams are mirrors of each other and try to out macho the other team. I am thinking LSU-ALA will be a field goal or touchdown game again this year....

A&M is in for a rude awakining as they travel more.
DV...The Swamp...even Rocky Top are not the easiest venues to win in.
This aint Kansas or Ok State.
