5 losses is bullshite?

TCU
Alabama
Texas A&M
Georgia
Florida

Appear on most top 25 lists. I don't see how in my hypothetical scenario(not real mind you, or the one I think is going to happen), where LSU loses to every top 25 team it plays, it is then 7-5?

Well.........

I play by my own rules. I will not stand for gentlemanly resolutions around here. Everyone is getting too chummy.

LSU doesn't lose to 1,4,5, and possibly even 3. 11-1 is very likely for them as well.

I might be a bit out of place saying this but i would consider 11-1 a succesful year.

That about falls in line with your schedule, yeah.

Losing to both Bama and LSU would make for a disappointing year not a succesful one.

A true Arkansas story.

What, do you want us Aggies fans to think?

That would be refreshing.

We lost...last year

Yes, to LSU - AT HOME. Get used to it.

Why wouldnt we think he can go into TS and come out with a win.

Because LSU was the better team last year, and will be improved this year as opposed to A&M who will not be as good as last year.

We will have another 14 games under our belt with a new coach, new QB, new upcoming talent.

Do you think LSU is just hanging out down by the fricking maltshop?

Since LSU beat us in College Station.

Yes, keep this in mind.
quote:

Are we supposed to not be optimistic/excited about this season?

Yes, you should. 10-2 is a fine season - for A&M. What you shouldn't do is get your expectations up to beat a team on the road that you couldn't beat last year at home.
quote:

Are we supposed to expect hanging two loses (Bama LSU) on the schedule before we take the field.

Yes, anything better would be gravy. Gravy's good.

Please oh great one explain what I am supposed to think will happen?

I have spoken.

I didn't say it wasn't. I was simply saying in a hypothetical scenario, where EITHER team isn't able to beat a top 25 opponent... LSU goes 7-5 and A&M goes 11-1. This is simply to show how drastically different the schedules are. Gumps be gumpin.

After last year why wouldnt we expect the same thing?

That's the WHOLE freaking point. You should expect the same thing - to lose to LSU.

I'm seriously starting to wonder if you are indeed wade Wilson, who I might add, is a terrible rip off of death stroke.

You think LSU will lose to every ranked team they face?

Based on what? Losing 2 guys on defense and 1 O-lineman.

I think you are underestimating the importance of the VERY VERY young team that took the field last getting more and more games under their belts, collectively.

Yes, you should. 10-2 is a fine season - for A&M. What you shouldn't do is get your expectations up to beat a team on the road that you couldn't beat last year at home.

10-2 would be disappointing considering our schedule. Although 10-2 for you this year might be "a fine season - for LSU"

A&M travels well, undefeated on the road last year. Manziel played the worst game of his short career that game (27 rushing yards) because he was trying to pick up first downs with his feet every time. Now that he has learned to be more comfortable in the pocket you wont see the same JFF in BR come November.

I guess we could argue this all day until we play.

Honest prediction:

A&M 27 - LSU 24

I'm just hopping on the 'jump to conclusions' mat like everyone else.

Putting words in your mouth like everyone else.

ETA: Also, you're struggling with the word Cajun. I'm from Houston. Hence the TexasTiger tag.
