They also thought that about Texas, but 76 times out of 118, they've been wrong.

It's all they've got, though, hopeless optimism

Hopeless optimism?

What do you want us Aggies fans to think?

We lost by 5 last year on some bad miscues and JFF making freshman mistakes (the same mistakes he DIDNT make against Bama)

Why wouldnt we think he can go into TS and come out with a win. Not saying its going to be an easy win but I am not considering it a non-winnable game..

We will have another 14 games under our belt with a new coach, new QB, new upcoming talent. Since LSU beat us in College Station.

Are we supposed to not be optimistic/excited about this season?

Are we supposed to be content with hanging two loses (Bama LSU) on the schedule before we take the field.

Please oh great one explain what I am supposed to think will happen?

Why are you trying to argue with these swamp kittens. Given their schedule, how much they lost, and their offensive incompetence, they STILL believe they are going to run the table and win the natty. We play them the second to last game of the regular season(and possibly the whole season for LSU), just bide your time til then, and bookmark your favorite posts. Trust me. It will be worth it.

Also, Im pretty sure if we can waltz into BDS and beat the national champs, we have a shot to do the same to LSU.

Jeezusfrickinchrist.

fricking Bama not getting work done, and now look at this shite stain. I hope you assholes realize this is all your fault.

fricking Bama.

It's not bad enough you beat LSU, but you had to lose to some texas shitheads.

frick YOU frickING BAMA, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!

We are supposed to expect another 2011-type season and remember that our team is coached by Dennis Franchione. Now start having those expectations or The Rant will be forced to say stupid shite like, the longhorns tried to warn us...etc, blah blah blah...

Only LSU and BAMA fans are allowed to have expectations. Don't you get it???

Now, shut up, and get in line.

NOBODY is saying that. But when you're LSU and you've had the success year in year out that we have had why WOULDN'T we expect to be right up there again???

This is the tagline the swamp kittens seem to have, since they know A&M is a far better team than them this year.

No. It's LSU's fault for playing Bama really hard and losing to them the week before. It made Bama weak so that lowly A&M could sneak up on them.

Get your talking points and blame game straight.

After last year why wouldnt we expect the same thing? What did we lose that is going to make us a 4 loss team? A few defensive players (good as they were) and an amazing O-lineman will not cost us two extra games. We have talent replacing those gaps and our O-Line is still great.

Its absurd for an Aggie to think we will have another succesful year but its pretty much blashpemy for a LSU to not?

Seems logical...

Because 1 good season doesn't make you a perennial powerhouse

We've had many good seasons. So, does that make us a powerhouse now?
