Melt harder plz. I’m sure y’all can average at least 17 in SEC play now.

Trust me having a rival chime in with something smart arse is better than the obsessional randos because at least it makes some sense in context. Try having insecure non-rivals starting threads about your team 24/7.
As for Coen is he the one that y'all thought was good from the early part of Stoops' tenure? If so, it's definitely an upgrade. Regardless, I still think Stoops is the number one issue with UK's offense. The same way that Pruitt was the issue for our offense when he was our HC.
Stoops needs to find someone he trusts (maybe this is the guy) and hand over the offense completely. UK has had a painfully conservative identity on offense through countless OCs.

You realize that Coen’s offense put up 42 on that shitty Tennessee defense? I get the sense that UT fans are skeeered of Coen!

Coen was the OC last year…not early part of his tenure.

Then how is this an upgrade? IOW, what does Coen bring that's different? I only remember one OC that was really good/different for Stoops' led teams. Maybe I have the timelines mixed up?

Coen had a Top 40 offense (believe it was Kentucky’s highest rated under Stoops) and we won 10 wins that season with a win over Iowa in the Citrus.
He had far more creativity than Scang and a much higher RZ completion percentage.

Coen was the OC that went to the Citrus Bowl with Levis. He is a great OC and glad he is back. Scag’s offense was too complicated this year.

This. I believe too 15 in the nation in this stat. Coen is a mix of McVey and LeFluer (Whipple offense) play calling. Look for Brown and Key to get the ball in their hands.

Thank you. Another question: how much do you think that had to do with Levis and the RBs that won't be there next season versus him being different from prior OCs?
Does UK have a projected starter at QB or is it going to be a QB battle?
I think what hurt UK's offense the most this year was how dreadful your OL turned out to be which genuinely surprised me. Levis didn't help much with his tendency to hold onto the ball too long but it's hard for an offense to do much of anything when the QB is getting pressured or sacked constantly.

Going to the portal for a QB like we did with Levis. Also already have a Bama OL transfer with others on the radar with what’s coming back.
Levis got those numbers done with basically two WRs in Wandale and Ali (and Ali was hurt part of the season). We brought in a lot of quality guys at TE, RB (Ramon Jefferson should get a redshirt to add to McClain coming back), and WR (Key and Brown are top notch). So I think Coen goes and gets a decent QB and we’re in good shape.

Sounds like Meetz of Wisconsin is Coen’s pick. Coen before he came to Kentucky the first time picked Levis.
OL will improve dramatically, sounds like we are getting 2 OTs that grade highly in PFF in the transfer portal and just got OG from Bama yesterday.

Oline won’t improve. Shitty coaching. Your good coach died (RIP) then Bama stole your other decent coach after that.

I was checking KSR constantly at work all week over this. That Gino Guidugli shite mid week made me nauseous.
I'm glad he's back.

Thread about Kentucky hiring a OC full of nervous Tennessee fans. Seems about right.
