Can't wait until Eblen's transfer is announced.

He's a senior. You aren't that stupid to think he'd transfer, right?

not sure if serious. Dude isn't even .500 in SEC play in 6 years at Ole Miss. Mr. NIT.

I'm dead serious. It's Ole Miss, no basketball history whatsoever, basically non-existent fan support, hands down the worst facilities in the league. It's a job that sets a coach up to fail.

true. I mean, he's just not much better than mediocre IMO. All I heard was "wait until he gets his players" from rebtards like pank. Motherfricker has been there for 6 years already and still hasn't done shite. fricking Rod Barnes was more successful than him...

This year will be fun to watch for Auburn. We have a solid group of veteran guys and a 100% Frankie Sullivan. AU has the best recruiting class they have had in a very very long time.

I expect jordan price to make his name early.

Our front court is the biggest concern. Chubb is the only big we have with experience. The rest are young and raw.

8. Vanderbilt - They lost essentially everyone as well, may be a dumb arse for underselling Stallings though. They’ll compete with everyone in the league.

Vandy will be in the bottom 4 of the SEC. You don't replace 2 1st round picks and 5 starters in one year unless you are Kentucky. Plus Vandy gets Tenn and Kentucky twice.

5. Mizzou - You lost essentially everyone…4 of your top 6 in minutes played, and honestly I feel like I probably have you too high.

No, I'm smart enough to know that he's graduating at the end of this summer and then transferring to a small school, College of Charleston has been the rumor, for playing time after he enrolls in a graduate program.

Not heard that at all. I don't believe it but it wouldn't be the worst thing for him or the team.

Hold on there brother, haven't you heard that most of the time during practice those 4 usually could not keep up with the 3 transfers practicing with them? Don't forget Oriakhi plus a team more used to Haith's coaching system. I agree UK is top dawg until proven otherwise but 2nd should be a three way battle between Mizzou Tenn and Florida.

You're missing the point.

If he had the resources of most other SEC teams, he'd recruit and win big time. The fact that four star recruits are even considering Ole Miss is huge considering, as Jed mentioned, our facilities and "tradition". He's certainly not a top flight coach or anything, but he's better than mediocre.

No, he isn't. I don't think he's much of a bench coach either. He's a notch below a guy like Brady or Gottfried when they were in the league. And I'd say they weren't much better than mediocre bench coaches.

Well I disagree. Whatever. I think you expect too much out of Ole Miss basketball if you think this.

I'd expect at least a tourny appearance every so often. Like I said, even Barnes could do that....

With Rob Evans' players. After those tournament years, Barnes never won more than five SEC games a year for four straight. Kennedy has never won fewer than seven. His floor is already demonstrably higher than Barnes'. He just needs to elevate his ceiling.

And "expecting a tourney appearance every so often" out of a program which has been a whopping six times EVER is a bit much. We are literally the worst basketball program in the history of the SEC, so for him to hover right around .500 in league play every year is impressive in itself.

I think we'll make the dance this year. Bookmark it and call me out on it in March of 2013 if you must, but I think Kennedy will get us there.
