How do you think the SEC shakes out next year?

1. Kentucky (Tournament)
2. UF (Tournament)
3. Tennessee (Tournament)
4. Alabama (Tournament)
5. Missouri (Tournament)
6. Vanderbilt (NIT)
7. Arkansas (NIT)
8. Ole Miss (NIT)
9. Georgia
10. Aggies
11. LSU
12. State
13. Auburn
14. South Carolina

Can't speak specifics for other teams, but I think next season is huge for Cuonzo, he'll have Stokes and Maymon in the post, with enough supplemental talent to challenge anyone in the country. There's a good bit of in-state talent next year, heavily considering Tennessee. (King and Nichols) and a good showing coupled with landing those guys could really propel his program back to Pearl's level.

he's a nice player, but I'm not sure he's THAT much of a difference maker. Not sure he'll be good enough as a true freshman to be the centerpiece of an NCAA tournament team.

Big men rarely make a huge difference in their freshman seasons.

Arkansas (NIT)

With Powell and BJ Young returning, I have a hard time believing we won't make the tourny.

Who are the candidates?

He needs to upgrade the roster down low,LSU is fine on the perimeter....

If state isn't last, it will be a successful year.

Alleva is talking to some big names but those don't seem likely even with a boatload of money. I don't want Johnny Jones

Tony Parker is the biggest recruit that we have been involved with in 10 years. He would come in and average 15 and 8 and take much need pressure off of KCP. If we land him he will put us in the tourney. Sig quote it if you want.

He will have the same impact that Stokes had for yall the only difference is we will have him all season.

15 and 8

that's absurd, and quite frankly laughable.

There's absolutely no way he's 15 and 8 good as a true freshman.

It's pretty obvious you don't watch much basketball.

Agreed. We have the $$$$ and decent tradition. We will see how committed LSU is to basketball now...

I'll be surprised if LSU is able to hire a big name.
